Man, they have a new writing option. My topic was along the lines of "Do you think that the idea of a majority rule is the most effective option? Why or why not?" How would you all tackle this question?

Depsnds. Majority rules,, can be placed politically and also in day to day life situation. IN talking about political terms, majority rule caption works with the accuracy of about 85 to 95% of time in a good political system. In a corrupt political system, the majority system can be shadowed by money and power still making it look like mahority rules. In day to day life situation it works 50% to 65%. Say you r in Who wants to be a millionare, if you take the audience poll you have good chances of getting it right keeping in mind thats the audience is educated. The other thing is What is the majority about. I got to go right now but will write more on this thing when i come back. It all depends in what is the majority system is polling about and what kinda of people they are. Like educated or not educated and stuff like that. I love writing essays

Hmm, very interesting. So majority rule is not just a political concept and can also be used in other situations as well. I focused mostly on politics and I argued against majority rule claiming that the founding fathers also wanted to safeguard the rights of the minority. What if the majority is 51% and the minority 49% like it is now? The neoconservatives and the religious right do not represent us all. I'll be waiting for your longer essay.
