Did anyone happen to see sex slave trade that featured in KPBS. I was so heartbroken to see the Indian and Nepalese young girls being trapped in the hell of prostitution. Well, this is not a new story for many Indian and Nepalese men and women, but after seeing this, I felt the real pain of being a girl and how they are suffering in brothels. The story of each young girl who was forced to involve and carry the diseases has no desire to live but to help others to rescue from that pit. So, do we give a thought to we Nepalese who are all privileged to get what we want in life, that we also live in that society whose daughters, sisters and wives are constantly being preyed on now and then, and our hands and mouths are tied. ?Because we don?t care and we are into that?. ?We have seen that enough?. The other side of the world very cruel and inhumane! The ignorant and uneducated villagers, far from all the modernization and privileges have to suffer this turmoil everyday, why not young girls and guys in Kathmandu think of doing something different apart from partying. Maiti Nepal was a truly inspiration for many, and I applause the independent movie, international justice and Anuradha Koirala for bringing out the issue to self centered men and women. One voice can make a difference. Use your education and capabilities to give justice to innocent children. Their (victims) tears will never go waste and will save ourselves from rotting in hell. For more information: www.pbs.org. Check it out those who missed it. ?We all can do it? ask for justice. We all can help.

Yes, I did. It was very heart-wrenching to hear that most of them were HIV+, and would be dead in a couple of years. One young girl Lila was already showing early signs AIDS. Anuradha Koirala's lone quest to save our chelibeti's is inspirational. Equally inspirational, are those rescued girls who are going back to the brothels, where they were once held captive, and are risking their own lives to rescue other innocent victims.

I watched it too. It was so heart breaking to see that the girls were taken there at such a young age. Girls having abortion when they were only 14-15 years old. The most heart breaking thing is that the cops who are supposed to save them are taking money from the brothel owners and shutting their mouth up. Everyone knows that the whole area is a red light area and still the government does nothing. The children are sexually exploited and everyone shuts their eyes. Makes me feel totally helpless. I feel like there is so much going on but how can we help? Anurada Poudyal sure gives everyone an inspiration to help the needy and i applaud her. It was sad to see that after the girls returned to their home, the villagers did not accept them. Their only fault was that they were innocent enough to trust people. Very sad.
