Hi Sajha Folks, I am using Mozilla Firefox browser and got problem to view Kantipur Daily. Though, I download Nepali Unicode/Devanagari System from MPP site. But still Nepali font of Kantipur Daily broke on Mozilla Firefox. Do anybody able to solve this problem? But, using damn MS IE, there was no problem to view Kantipur Daily.

if it works on IE, it should be no problem with firefox as well, but just to be sure, try installing the fonts on the kantipur daily site, its under "having FONT problems' on the top right corner. It might just be that the firefox on you computer is not acknowledging the installation of unicode, and so the installation of fonts might just help. cheers, NepaliKoChoro PS ... people still on IE .. please try out Firefox .. its a great new browser ... and it is FREE ... just try it out ... i like it much more that IE, you might too ...

I love firefox... the best thing about it (and mozilla) is the tab browsing. i still wonder why people stick to IE when there are mozilla-type browsers. I had the same problem as NePaRu. though, i couldnt find a permanent solution as well, setting the fonts in Edit->Setting and then refreshing might help. cheers

Hell yeah ! Firefox is cool. And there are the other browsers like Maxthon and Opera. As Galaab said it, tab browsing is really very convenient among other good features. But IE is still great, cuz whatever cannot be viewed on the other browers, IE is the solution !

lady, thats coz microsoft 'monopolized' the market by 'illegally' bundling IE with MS Windows, and people were forced to use it. This inturn forced developers to develop for the IE platform more, and thus many sites work only on IE. Lets promote firefox, bring IE down. cheers, NepaliKoChoro

It is not about bring IE down or anything. Look at it as enhancing your own browsing experience. Some of the great features of Firefox: Tabbed browsing: You can have multiple windows in one browser, leaving your status bar uncrowded. Extensions: You can download small programs as add-ons for your browsers that make things easier for you. Most popular ones - Adblock, Mouse Gestures, Gmail Notifier, etc etc. Adblock is an amazing tool. It enables you to block all kinds of banner ads. If you use Gmail, Gmail Notifier is a very handy tool that lets you know when you get new mail. Keywords for Bookmarks: When you save a site to your favorites list, you can assign a keyword to them. Next time you want to visit the site, just type the keyword. No need to type long URLs. Firefox has made browsing easier for me. I recommend it to everyone.
