I came across the following write up from People's Review latest isssue. What I find indigestable is Prakash Sharan Mahat's claim which goes, "...it is a representative government as legitimate as any parliamentary one, and its validity cannot be questioned.."
Ke 're!!! its validity cannot be questioned 're!!! One does not have to be a student of political science the validity of current government. It is all bogus and hotpotch. I thought Dr. Mahat had done his higher studies in the US, and therefore would have a bit more respect for the democracy than many who were born and raised and brainwashed and benefitted during the Panchayati regime. I also thought he will not be the one who will forget all his promises and commitment and big gufsuf, like many, once you enter the TIA. He did followed on the footsteps of many, like, Sainju, Lohani, Thapa(s), Risal or Rija, Khadka, to name a few.
Who in the world would say that the current government, whose head was once got a sack for being incometence, has any validity.
Have people gone out of their minds...not to catch this sooner...
