In my honest opinion looks matter. Not just finding your mate but also in all aspects of our lives. Having sad that for men the criteria is a bit different. In regards to attracting a foxy lady, a dude does not have to be a good looking. As a matter of fact, it can back fire as you may be perceived as a ýPlayer hence not trust worthyý So here is my subjective observation of what it takes.

Height matters, 5ý-8ý can pass but around 5ý-10ý to 6ý-1ý does nicely. You donýt look too short and not too tall.

Donýt need to be a pretty boy. You just need to look comfortable to your counter part. Someone she doesnýt get repulsed. The pretty boys in general definitely get the initial interest, however girls assume that you are a player hence if what you are looking for is simple ýPleasureý it will take much longer and greater effort to accomplish the task.

Toning your body is a great idea but you donýt have to look alike the incredible hulk.

Too fat is not good but too skinny is even worse.

Dress like you are somebody. Nothing flamboyant if you are over 25, just basic notch lapel navy blue suit will do nicely. Be certain that you complement with a nice shirt and a nice tie. The tie and shirt do not cost a lot but it makes very strong statement. If you prefer being casual, you canýt go wrong with simple monochromatic look.

Nice shoes are not just for ladies. If you can afford $100, air Jordon, you can certain do the same for $150 Bruno Magli at your nearest outlet.

Be gentle and be a good listener at least at least pretend like you care. This applies even for the one night stand. Respect! People respect.

Be a man, if you gonna calculate every pennies, you shouldnýt go out on date as it isnýt really pleasant for you and certainly not pleaser to your date.

Financially be totally honest. No need to take to a date to a fancy restaurant on your first date. Just go to a quant local joint, not so loud where you can converse in civilized manner. No need to spent all of your hard earn money, cause when it is over you will be heartbroken and financially as well.

Well anyway, I think I started a stupid thread. However if anyone has any constructive input, or wants to rebuke and validate my stupidity, please do so.

P.S. Maintaining excellent personal hygiene is must.

From a woman's point of view.... (MY Own Observation)

Gentleman, you are correct. Younger women do care more about the physical aspects than older women do. Physical aspects are defined by actual physical characteristics - face, body, height. Older women also look at the physical, but on a different level - they look at good hygeine (VITAL!), threads, and how a man carries himself over all. Men should be presentable and should appear to take care of himself. If he can't take care of himself, how can he take care of a woman? I think that as a woman matures, she realizes that looks only go so far, and to really sustain something substantial requires more than just a trophy boyfriend. Therefore, they tend to overlook the shallow and focus more on mental, emotional, and one's heart. Looks fade, conversations are what keeps things going.

Women define what's handsome differently than men do. Its not universal, its definitely objective. How a man carries himself, with confidence and charisma is what really matters.

Take a Brad Pitt, the supposed sexiest man alive, walking into a room with a hunched back, bad posture, darting eyes across the room and hanging out in the corner - I don't know if any woman would want to approach him....

And to all that bag on metrosexuals who actually care about how they present themselves - although they have gay tendencies, they are the ones getting all the girls.
