If you are a Nepali living in the USA, the Embassy of Nepal in Washington, D.C. has a special request for you. The Embassy has initiated the "Study of Nepali Diaspora in the US" through the Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS) with support from The Asia Foundation (TAF).

The aim of this study is to understand in which cities and states the Nepali Diaspora is concentrated and also to learn about their knowledge, skills, expertise, and experiences so that the Embassy can better provide its consular services to them, including through mobile consular services. The study will also help identify areas and avenues for utilizing the Diaspora Nepali’s knowledge, skills, expertise, experiences, and investments in the overall development efforts of Nepal.
