TPS was approved in april 2017. Back then i did not apply for EAD card.. Can i apply now ? If yes, what is the process and documents needed ?

you can apply now, just follow the instructions to apply i-765. Use your approved tps as one of the supporting docs and it should be good. Additionally, you can write a cover paper explaing your situation which helps them to understand the situation better and your process will be fast.
