I traveled on TPS with AP last year while I was in F1status. Every thing went well but in my i94 in the category "admitted until" a date is mentioned that is till December of this year. So I was wondering if it will cause any issue in future if I stayed more than mentioned date. Do I need to do anything to correct it or it will be ok since i already have my Renewed TPS that will last till next year. Suggestion from anyone who went through similar condition will be appreciated. Thank you.

wonder how u get that admitted until stamp..its a LEAVE TO REMAIN until certain date..after that ur considered as illegal though u have a tps but might create problem during change of status after TPS.. admitted until stamp is generally given to those who have case pending in court( asylum) n they are given entry until their case is resolves in special case.. i would recomend to consut a good lawyer not Nepali type but one who handles refugee n asylum case

AP stamp is always for a year at POE, no matter what status you are in. That date does not mean anything if you have legal status like F-1, TPS, etc

furke mentioned above that the AP stamp for a year at POE applies to all traveling on AP irrespective of status. Does this apply to even those traveling on AP with approved i140 and pending i485?

Hi spandey808,

You are able to travel with TPS once you have your advance parole document. You need to apply for AP separately. You should be able to find to other threads related to that. If you have your AP and present it to the POE you'll be granted entry based on that. Your TPS will still be valid after that.

Thank you furke for your information.

Agreed , if you come in AP it is always paroled for 1 year. That does not mean a anything usually.
