Wake up boyz and galz......... NFL kickoff is just 48 hrs away. Can you believe it??? Go get your team shirts and pigskins to throw in the snow. Let's talk some Football here. Let each other know about your favorite team and share what each of us has to say about this NFL season. By the way.. if you guys do not have a favorite team yet or have a doubt that your team might bring to you another disappointing season then............ here's a solution. Rooot for the NEW England Patriots. It's always a safe bet. I got my BRady shirt and the Patriot Hats.......... I gotta go pick up my Ty Law Shirt and Rodney Harrison shirts as well (..well that depends on how much BUCK I can afford to spend!!!!!$$). So guys Watch for them COwboys. GO patriots go. Jai Nepal

Carolina at Philadelphia: EAGLES (Last night I dreamt Owens getting 3TDS..wouldnt mind if Carolina wins) Cincinnati at Cleveland: Bengals( Slighty better team) Green Bay at Detroit: Green Bay( Time for defense to wake up) Houston at Tennessee: Tenn ( They are getting better) Kansas City at Jacksonville: Kansas city( Theyve got the rhythm, the should win) Miami at Buffalo: BUffalo( even though they are 0-4 and offense is struggling, they nearly won against the Jets) San Diego at Atlanta: San Diego ( WHy doesnt Vick through more, he has hardly thrown for more than 200 yds..dfence is winning for them) Seattle at New England:New England ( they dont fold underpressure) San Francisco at N.Y: NY ( they are back) Washington at Chicago: Washington( Always had a close game ..but silly mistakes have cost them 4 losses) Denver at Oakland: Denver( If Kerry Collins== 3ints, system.out.print("Raiders lose") } else { system.out.print("raiders win") Pittsburgh at Dallas: Pittsburgh Minnesota at New Orleans:Vikings ( another 5td for Daunte..???) Tampa Bay at St. Louis:St.Louis...dont think Tampa offense can keep up with the mighty rams.

I seriously think California is better than USC this year. Californina was better in every department last week, but could not pull off against USC. I do not miss any college football games on Saturdays and yes I sure will be watching USC vs ASU game. Speaking of ASU, granted they are 5-0 this year. But lets see who they played : UTEP, Northwestern, Oregon, Iowa, Oregon State. None of them are ranked team..let alone being any one of them being top 10. But still..ASU offense been phenomenal this year. I really do wish they beat USC. So that Auburn could go higher ranking ;). Last night Louisville almost made it against Miami. Had Miami lost last night and ASU upsets over USC on Saturday, it would have been OU vs Auburn in Orange Bowl..(i know it is far fetched idea for right now but still). So I will be rooting for ASU ..Just hoping USC won't thrash them. Go Auburn... kill 'em Hogs!!

AX Bro, Try to educate someone else. Maybe it's you who needs to get out of your fantasies. I had always been supporting the SOONerS. For reference you may go back to some of my older postings. Or are you trying to teach me what Collegiate team plays for what Conference??? Perhaps you are trying to make me a fan of Nebraska football. Watch out for the upcoming schedules. You won't get more disappointed than this season if you are a Huskers fan. And Bro maybe you do not understand English Very well?? When I was talking about NFL players... and Nebraska football.. I was trying to express how terrible they have been this season and also the last season. I guess you get it better now. Last nite's game was a thriller. Until the middle of 3rd quarter I thought Louisville got the Hurricanes number. I did in fact stop watching that game. When I went through the Newspaper this morning, I was surprised to see MIami bounce back. OU means Oklahoma University to me and especially when I am talking about SOONERs, and the team that is beating the hell out of the opponents, and the team that is undefeated so far. any FOOL in this world can guess what team I am talking about!!! And how many Sooners are there in NCAAA anyways?? OU mgiht mean Ohiio state cowboys, or ORegon University, or anything that starts with O to you. I care less about what you think in the first hand. And where did you find that I were rooting for the OSU cowboys ??? I will be surprised also. Or you expect me to talk about Nebarska All th time?? what about taking a look at their schedule and their remaining opponents: Nebraska 3-2-0 L-1 09/04/04 +* Western Ill. 56 17 09/11/04 + Southern Miss. 17 21 09/18/04 Pittsburgh 24 17 10/02/04 + Kansas 14 8 10/09/04 * Texas Tech 10 70 10/16/04 + Baylor 10/23/04 Kansas St. 10/30/04 + Missouri 11/06/04 Iowa St. 11/13/04 Oklahoma 11/26/04 + Colorado How many games do you think they are gonna win by the end of the season?? Earlier I said about 8. Now I will find them lucky to win 7. Their remaining games appear far more challenging than the ones they had alreay played. I guess one of their wins this season is against a division II team. Now do you expect me to follow the HUskers or what?? What about the team I have been ROOTING for: SOONERS and not Buckeyes or Cowboys: 5-0-0 W-5 09/04/04 + Bowling Green 40 24 09/11/04 + Houston 63 13 09/18/04 + Oregon 31 7 10/02/04 + Texas Tech 28 13 10/09/04 $ Texas 12 0 10/16/04 Kansas St. 10/23/04 + Kansas 10/30/04 Oklahoma St. 11/06/04 Texas A&M 11/13/04 + Nebraska 11/20/04 Baylor Don't you think this team has the chance to go undefeated and all the way to the BCS championship game? Oh Well, watch for that November 13th game. It's yours Huskers against my Sooners. What do you say MR. College Football Genius??? At this point of the season, I guess our Hometwon Eagles have better record than your Huskers?? Now I am talking about Boston College Eagles and not the Philadelphia eagles who are 4-0 in the NFL. ASU Vs. USC is a big game but My personal game of the week is going to be Purdue vs. Wisconsin. Both games are the battles of the undefeated, however The Second game appears to be more interesting to me. Despite being ranked #1 in the nation, I haven't been too impressed by the TRojans. To add on top of that the SUn Devils don't look like a very good team to me. THey are good but not very good. K. Orton is my another Heisman favorite besides J. White. What happens this weekend let's see. Another great week of College footbal. Go sOOners go. Jai Nepal

lol I tried Proud bro. I agree Huskers stinks this year. This Bill Calhan don't know about Huskers tradition. Usually teams from north are power running. Don't know why he messing with west coast offense there. I hope they will fire AD along with him. I think Huskers were 10-3 last year. and bro stop changing your teams. Couple weeks ago it was OSU now OU it will be Miami after 2 weeks :S Purdue and WI is goign to be good as well. I am all for Badgers, Huskers need to bring Badgers coach Barry Alvarez, he knows the Huskers tradition and system i am stuck at home today. was hoping to see Baseball game :( have a wonderful sports weekend all............

WHat a joke AX.... Show me the link where I favored OSU over OU?? A greatweek of football. Damn what's that all about the CBS rating. THe computer ranking????? Already a controversy. WHy aren't USC people saying anything?????? When they were in 3rd place they were crying out loud, and now none seems to care about the rankng. I like the way the HURRIcanes had been playing this season. after losing so many players to the NFL draft they are still a team to beat. But to me, all the systems of rankings sound STUPID to me. What determines which team has a better ranking?? THE difficulty of schedule, outcome of other games.... what in the world has one Football program to do with all those stuffs. All the teams play according to what they were scheduled to play. I don'tthink they get to pick the teams on their own will. So, why is there so much discrepancies in the ranking. What determines USC to be #1 and OU to be #2 in the preason ranking/? and why not someone else?? There are so many teams with equally challenging schedules but still unbeaten and being ranked # 5 where as the team with similar record is ranked #1. I guess the whole system is biased. I won't blame the COmputer sytems beacuse they rank with equal attention to all the football teams. As to the human polls, there arleady is a team favored to be #1 regardless of how impressively they won. To me that is totally unfair to other Football programs who practice and exhibit as hard as they can in order to recieve better rankings. Anyways, guys what's up for the coming weekend? Go pAts go. Jai Nepal

You mean BCS Rankings right? That's what happens when college presidents do not want to have playoffs on NCAA football. They are simply too greedy to give up the financial prospects that comes from bowl games. Yes, there is already controversy brewing on never ending tale of college football ranking. USC is quiet because everything going thier way this season. Why lose the focus. Reason Miami is ahead of OU in BCS is clear. All the five computer ranking gave them low scores while Miami has better even though Miami is 3 rd in coaches and 4th in AP. Strength of scedule (SOS) and Quality Wins(QW) are the not the idividual factors in BCS from this year. They get rid of that from this season because 5 computer rankings and Human Polls would already take into accounts of those 2 factors so it would be too redundant to have them. Preseason ranking has lot to do with off season. It has lot to do with depth charts and recruiting and losing seniors to NFL. Also preseason ranking is based on at least 2 years of the particular school's football program not just one year. I know all the colleges play according to thier schedules. But you have to admit that some conferences are downright mediocre. A team from SEC with a 9-3 record at the end of the season would have achieved more or equal to whatever a team from WACC or Conference USA with 11-0 record. So you can not just give a team a higher ranking just because they have a clean record. That's where human polls kick ins. Which is also somewhat faulty but that is just the way college football have been around for years and years and with special interest group lobbying harder more than ever for bowl games, playoffs scenario in college football isl always going to be a dream. I read some where that reason USC ibeing top ranked in AP poll is that most of the voting sports writers are located in Southern California. ;) In retrospect, College Football is full of chaos and you can spin your views whatever way you want. And more the chaos more fun and may be sad too. But that's the way college football functions. Go Auburn!! Go Falcons!!

Yeah Bro, thanks for the correction. I meant BCS and not CBS. YEah, the rankings system is really a big controversy. Computer rankings seems to be underlooking the regular facts the human polls look for. ANd in the contrary Human polls appear to be more supportive of one team than another. I wish they all stay neutral and not over exaggerate the victories of one team against those of others. Alrite Here's my pick for the coming weekend. WEEK 7 Sunday, Oct. 24 Atlanta at Kansas City -> Chiefs (Chiefs don't lose at home very often. They need to turn around their season or it can be a long one for them) Chicago at Tampa Bay -> Buccainers (Coach Gruden's job is already on the line I believe. A comprehensive win should make him feel more secure) Detroit at N.Y. Giants, 1:00 pm -> Lions (it's hard to bet against Giants and at thier home. Yet, I believe their wonder start will come to an end just because Lions are starting their own wonder season) Jacksonville at Indianapolis -> COlts (At RCA stadium it's hard to beat the Colts. Jags are doing really good but maybe they will be short by 10 points. I won't be surprised if the Jags win) Philadelphia at Cleveland -> Eagles (TO against Garcia. Eagles should win but Browns will defenitely give them hard time. Garcia will be on fire. Maybe turnovers by Browns will decide the game) San Diego at Carolina -> Panthers (After a horrible loss last weekend, Panthers should had had their wakeup call. Their season is almost on the line. tHey better win. Chargers will score in bunch but not as much as the Panthers) St. Louis at Miami, 1:00 pm -> Rams (I wish I could pick the Fish. After seeing The Rams getting the job done in their recent games, I do not see why they shouldn't win this one. Who is the starting QB for Dolphins?) Tennessee at Minnesota -> VIkings (In minnesota, Titans won't be able to take control of their game. THE o-Line and D-line of the Vikings should crush thier opposing linemen. Titans can beat VIkings but not this time) N.Y. Jets at New England -> Patriots (No doubt. Given how we practice and how we make our mind set before going to the game, We should beat the opponents pretty easily. Jets are makng a historical start but the COaching genius of Belichick will find ways to stop the JEts young QB) Dallas at Green Bay -> PAckers (Cowboys had been disappointing so far. Everytime they put themselves in a winning situation they dig their own holes.4 (losses) in a row at Lambough field, that's not gonna happen) New Orleans at Oakland -> Raiders (aftersuffering a humiliating loss by the hands of their greatest rivals, the Broncos, The raiders should be more careful in handling the football.THE unpredictable and unreliable Saints will struggle in Oakland) Seattle at Arizona -> Seahawks (It's an easy pick. Even though the ROOokie of the year from last year is ready, or is he??, Seattle have a different class than the Cardinals) Denver at Cincinnati -> BEngals (Surprise pick huh. Broncos are tough to beat this season. Droughins might run over another 100 yards and BRoncos might score ore 34 pts but Begals shhould be able to score more. THE tWO JOhnsons and the former Heisman winner should put intogether a really good show) Game of the Week: NY Jets Vs The NEw ENglans Patriots: History in the making.. continued. Besides two of the teams with perfect record so far) GO PATS GO. Jai Nepal
