Rooot for the NEW England Patriots. It's always a safe bet. I got my BRady shirt and the Patriot Hats.......... HEY AX ,, What's your pick for the Jaguars Vs. CHargers.. (I guess the Jagssss) Alrite LEt me have my say now: Cleveland at Pittsburgh: Steelers (BEn Roth.. fast learning curve goes steady up. Besides he has a strong running game to support him. WIsh WInslow Jr. was healthy for the Browns) Detroit at Atlanta: Lions (I guess the OVERachieved Falcons will finally come apart. Harrington will make Roy Williams catch over 120 yards and 2 TDS. Falcons gotta good defense but we will see how good they really are) Miami at New England: Patriots (Even RICKY Williams coming back together with Dan Marino will not beat the Pats. Maybe We won't be able to score whole lotta points but they won't score a lot either. I say, the game will be 20-6) Hey Histroy in the Making. Minnesota at Houston: Texans ( I heard Moss wasn't 100%. I have to wait for the latest update on that. After winning back to back games, the TExans have a reason to believe that they can win on road, on home and anywhere. SO they do believe they can win 3 games in a row also. Despite a very good passing game, that VIkins offense is lacking a RUNNING game very badly) N.Y. Giants at Dallas: COwboys (A hard pick after seeing what the GIants had done so far. But Bill Parcells should find a way to beat the Giants. He will regroup his defensive players together and try to bring in the same touch of as last year's) Oakland at Indianapolis : COlts (Collins is a good QB but the Raiders cannot match the offensive intensity of the COlts. Colts will probaly win by a score of 10pts. Watch out for Reggie Wayne and Stockley. Harrisson is old.. hahhaa he is still the best of the 3) Tampa Bay at New Orleans: Buccainers (After disappointing me last weekend, I am not gonna put my money on the Saints this time. THey are unpredictable. How can they lose to the Cardinals by a score of 10-34? Besides the CHamps of the 2002 can't go 0-5 in the season. That will put coach Gruden on the hot Seat) Buffalo at N.Y. Jets: Jets (I wish both of them could lose. C. Martin will run over 100 yards again, and the other Moss will have a big game) Jacksonville at San Diego: CHargers (I am picking the CHargers. I think this team had gained a lot of self confidence after already winning 2 games in the season. Oh.. that was the TITans they beat last weekend. I know Jags have a good D.. but I don't see any offensive production. Defense alone won't win a lot of games for you!) Arizona at San Francisco: Cardinals (I do not know if the 493rs will win any game this year. Maybe a Coaching change might help (to win 3 0r 4 games) but they need a lot of help both offensively and defensively. I still do not know the name of their QB! Maybe San Fran can win this one. Carolina at Denver: Panthers (It's a difficult pick. I like Denver too. But the defending champs cannot lose a lot of games. Both are good defensive teams. However, the offensive edge goes to the Panthers. Solely because of the Running game. Panthers might win by a field goal) St. Louis at Seattle: Seahawks (Seahawks are amongst the team favored to win the NFC. THey have a very well balanced team. Rams are a good offensive team. But their defense might not be just as good) Baltimore at Washington: REdskins (I know this REdskins team is tooo overrated. But they shouldn't lose back to back home games. The Ravens have a fair shot but on the road I will pick th REdskins. Both the RBS (Lewis and Portis) are looking for huge RUnS. THis game has the potential of going to the OT. The first one of this season. Tennessee at Green Bay: Packers (yet another Monday Night win for Favre. One of these two team has to go 1-4. It better be the TItans who are slacking horribly. The Packers lost the game against the Gaints because they lost Favre also. Remember what Favre did last year after his DAd passed away. It has a been tragic weekend for Favre. Watch for him to catch the fire on MNF) Game of the Week: THe Pats vs. THe DOlphins. How can anyone neglect this record setting game. GO Pats go. Jai Nepal.

Bad week in a row for me. I got 5 wrong predictions for the week. Some of them had the OTs runining my CAUSE the Rams, the 49ers, and the vikings. MNF was a boring one. I wish the game was more competitive. A .GReen sucked BIG TIme. Favre wasn't reading his widerecievers very well at few occassions (or I can call it the other way around). Worst of all the PAckers were letting the TItans wideouts run at their will. And Chris Brown, he was able to gain his 4th 100 + yds game of the season. as usual the Dolphins gave us a hard time. Mostly due to the MIami's defense, and partly due to some crazy speacial team plays. With Ricky williams it would have been a 20-17 pts. game. WIthout him it was 24-10.(add 4 pts to each of the teams score on top of my earlier predictions of 20-6). The TExans gave a huge chase, I thought they were gonna make it but they lost the toss in the OT. Same can be said about the Seahawks. THey had opporunities to snap the game but they let the mighty Rams bounce back. that dude from 49ers threw for 400+ yds (most by any QB in a single game this season) and some 3 TDS tocomplete the Comeback. That was an entertaining game. Hell, the cardinals lost. The coaching genius of Coach Shanahan, now this no name guy "Droughins' runs for 193 yds.. and they beat the Panthers. THe COwboys offense just suCKEd after the interval. Thier defense were doing good until they gave HUGE penalties... the game deciding ones. anyways guys, watch for the Seahawks vs. The patriots. It will be another record setting day for us PAts nation. GO PATS GO. Jai Nepal

Glad to be back ! wud up guys !!! I just cant believe Seahawks gave up that big lead and lost the game.... waht a game !!! Ax bro....the worst thing in football i could ever imagine....Huskers got their ass wipped by texas a&m....70-10......good god! i thought huskers Defense is pretty good...i guess i was wrong.........never thought Huskers could lose a game like that.....i wonder how many points Oklohoma and Texas gonna put against the Huskers...man..they r really a sorry team....so sad ... In the list of surprising team u guys forgot to mention Detroit Lions...they beat Mike vick and the Falcons at their home....thats neat !! Dolphins might go 0-16 this year......what a shame ! its hard to understand how absense of one player could make such a huge difference for the entire team....i would be damned if they let Ricky rejoin the team !!! I m dissapointed by the Packers defense.....what a blowout......they were much better last year...dunno what happened.......I hate to say it but AHman green sucked last week........whatelse did i miss......well....catch u guys later.... I dont care for baseball that much but i hope RED SOX never win the world series......GO YANKEES !!! Roy Williams has to be the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR...

Bret Favre is a great QB. But i dont think they gonna go to the wildcards this time. too many fumbles by the running backs man. And my home teams, washington Redskins and Baltimore Raves; Redskins sucks man. They just disappoint their fans so much. The running backs fumble the ball in the last minute and they loose the game by a small margin. 4 times in a row man.Damnnn they suck. Ravens are good. They keep the momentum going man......... get ready for this weekends football. .

I hear ya aakash bro. glad the game was not televised. I was so excited before the game with TT about the possibility of the being ranked fainlly this year. I felt disgusted after checking the score. Huskers were never beaten like that before. Huskers used to known for their defensive games. offense is worst as well. I donýt think Huskers need to play any West Coast offense sh*t, what they need is a option QB and power RB. Never liked that Callahan dude and after this I never will. Huskers need some own local talented coach... either promote Kendall Gill or get the ex-husker and current Badgers coach Barry Alvarez There is no Option QB in the nation to recruit??? what happened to Gills, Fraziers, Frosts and Crouches???

Ohhhh.. Stop whining. I didn't know the Huskers lost by that margin until Tuesday when this friend of mine came for a visit. He told me the Huskers got beaten by a huge margin, I believe some 60 points. I was like what???????? are you confused with the score.... maybe the other way around is true!! But he said " NO dude the Texas A& M" whopped their ass real good. I was like WHat the hellllllllllllll. But hellll... that's how the COllege football is all about. I never was a fan of Nebraska football anyways. But dude lose against Texas.. what a shame. It was OU then maybe I will say okie.. that's like the #1 team (USC is #1 but I don't seea reason why OU is not ranked #1?? OU had beaten teams with better rankings and as impressively as the Trojans!!) Oh well there went the West coast offense. Aakash bro I don't buy the fact that The LIOns beating the Falcons was a huge UPSet. I have been telling that the Falcons are overachiever this season. They are expected to win No More than 10 games. Maybe 11 by the most. Thats' a goood football team but not anything like a 4-1 football team. I do believe that ROy Williams is so far the leading candidate for Rookie of the yEar award, However, THE way BIG Ben Roth. is playing, and at the most important Position (QB), I will have to make him my favoirte. Yet, we are not sure if he is gonna be the starting QB for the rest of the season or not. YEah CHargers and the Giants should be the surprises of the season so far. Well, The Jets going 4-0 is a surprise in itself. Packers and the CHiefs are the major Upsets so far. Guys I can't wait to see the Pats roll over the Seahawks. Seahawks are damn scary team but after Seeing what they went through this gone weekend, I feel pretty comfortbale about the Pats beating them at home. GO PAts Go. Jai Nepal

Alrite: Time for the Prediction (early) for the coming weekend: WEEK 6 Sunday, Oct. 17 Carolina at Philadelphia: Eagles (A home game for the scary Eagles. I won't be surprised if the Panthers win this one. But who's gonna RUN the ball For them??) Cincinnati at Cleveland: Browns (Bengals might be the favorite of the Football Pundits but I pick Browns because this is a home game for them) Green Bay at Detroit: Packers (A loss might mean the end of the season for the Packers. The Lions are alreay happy about what they have accomplished so far) Houston at Tennessee: Texans (An upset perhaps. After seeing what they did to the Vikings last week, I cannot bet against them. Hell Titans are pretty good team. They beat the Packers really bad. For some reasons, I don't think they are that good of a football team this season) Kansas City at Jacksonville: Chiefs (seemingly an upset also. Jags are not as good as they look. Chiefs got lots of explosion. Almost a most win situation for the CHiefs) Miami at Buffalo: Dolphins (who gets the first win of the season? Bills are a better team collectively. But for some reasons THE Dolphins defense Might just do enough to win this game. I picked the Bills originally.. and then Bledsoe + NY... what a waste?) San Diiego at Atlanta: Chargers (This revamped offense of the Chargers should be able to beat the Falcons who just got beaten by the Lions badly) Seattle at New England: Patriots (It's a home game. IT might be more difficult for us if we were playing in Seattle, but at home we should win comfortably) San Francisco at N.Y. Jets: Jets (Hope this will be an Upset game. Can't believe the Jets are going to be 5-0 this season. Well, their schedule so far had been an easy one) Washington at Chicago: Bears (After disappointing plenty of times and Proving that the Redskins are not as good as Advertised, I do not expect them to win at Chicago. Homefield advantage- the Bears) Denver at Oakland: Raiders (It's easy to pick the Broncos but Raiders won't make it any easier for the Broncos at their own home. I do not think the Broncos can run over 120+ yards again. This game may well decide the fate of K. Collins) Pittsburgh at Dallas: Cowboys (It's a home game. After disappointing loss by the hands of the Giants, the Cowboys should win this game to keep thier spirits high) Minnesota at New Orleans: Vikings (THe Saints had been very unpredictable. THey collapse too easily. Another 5 TD weekend for Dante perhaps) Monday, Oct. 18 Tampa Bay at St. Louis: Rams (If this was a home game, I would have picked the Buccs. BuT as good as Rams are it will be tough for any team to beat them at thier own home. Oh that OT win of last week) Game of the Week: THE Pats vs. The Seahawks. History in the making. We will tie the Most consecutive regular season games won record of the Bears (or is it someone else?). This is a difficult week to pick the teams. I can easily go 0-14 , and I may go 14-0 also. go Pats GO. jai Nepal.

Good for the Huskers that they lost to Texas Tech.. They are a pretty good football team. But didn't the Sooners beat them also. I was really surprised to know Texas A & M beat the Huskers. The Huskers case becomes better when they lost against T. Tech and not the A & M. You said it right: We do not know when to Yaaap. And you NYkers don't even understand that We here in Boston aren't worried about the HUSkers football season. dude we got more important things to take care of then to wach the Huskers game. By the way Bro, I were talking about Oklahoma Sooners (OU) ..not OHIO State.... I guess you guys SEE one thing and Interprete as something else. I might have said something about the Oklahoma State (buckeyes) Univ. football team. Please recheck your sources. I like the Ohio State also but never became a big fan. I know the Nebraska used to be a big A BIGTime Powerhouse in the NCAA. They aren't there anymore. I also know the 2001 season, when they went to the CHampionshp game I believe, but lost big time something like 60+ t0 under 20 score to the neighboring rivals, CU buffaloes. Their coach then said, the Buffs were more deserving to go to the CHampionship Bowl than their own team. Whatever, I am not a fan of Nebraska football. A coach from NFL isn't enough to win College teams, maybe it's time to look for NFL players to join their team!!! Just a suggestion. ANyways, gO pAts go. jai Nepal

proud bro, ou should stick with NFL. Coz you have only PATS to talk about. here's lesson for you when ppl say OU and Big 12 - they are talking about Oklahoma Sooners OSU and BIG 12 - Oklahoma State Cowboys when they say OSU and Big 10 - they talk about the team you were rooting for till couple weeks ago Ohio State Buckeyes Bro said "A coach from NFL isn't enough to win College teams, maybe it's time to look for NFL players to join their team!!! Just a suggestion." >>> dunno what to take from that comment. can pro play in College FB??? that's new to me

I think ranking system in College football is totally screwd up. I know USC is a very good team with lots of future NFL caliber players but they play in PAC 10 conference and they do not play with any good teams. Except for California , the conference is downright mediocre. Same with Big 12. After OU and Texas, the confernce takes a nose dive. Except for OU and Texas game there is nothing exciting in big 12. ACC is little exciting after induction of Miami and Virginia Tech. . Big East is a complete joke this year. Purdue is only exciting team in Big 10(eventhough 11 teams) but they will be tested by Wisconsin and OSU. That leads us to good ole' SEC. I know I am a Pro SEC guy but heck I am not being biased. There is so much of competition among SEC teams that it is very hard for any SEC team to remain undefeated by the end of season. Week in week out SEC teams display high intensity games and competition. For instance, Auburn whupped Tennessee, then Tennessee killed Georgia's National Championhip dream, LSU made sure there will be more hits at www.fireronzook.com. Georgia might whup Auburn in November or vice versa..heck even 2nd tier team in SEC like Arkansas Razorback who almost beat Texas Longhorns might be able to beat Auburn this saturday. That is the main reason you will hardly see any SEC teams undefeated by the end of the year. To make the matter worse, BCS is not going to take factor Strength of Schedule while ranking the teams. It will be very interesting to see when they release the first BCS rankings for this year on Monday morning. Back to NFL, Falcons defeat was a total bummer for me. But the season is too early and there are lots of game to be played. Gotta stick with my boys thru thick n thin. I like the way Falcons defense been playing this year. If Vick could pass more from the pocket with his rushing ability intact and some tuning up to west coast offense, I really think Atlanta can make it to the playoffs...maybe more. I will be crossing my fingers till then. AX ..you are Sajha's future Sports Hall of Famer... thanks for inducting me in your prediction list.;) Okay ...now everyone say..Go Auburn.!!...and Go Falcons!!...yeah...that's what I am talking about.

Carnell Williams, watch the game between USC and ASU, it will make you rethink about the PAC 10. USC vs Arizona State is the Game of the Week
