Hey clickerclick, who is saying that everything looks simple from outside....man there's a lot of work that goes in...otherwise I would have done it 10 times as I told u before.

1) Your view, "Do the people living in the rural area are really poor people? Nonsense question nope.."

My view on that is yes they are one of the poorest in the world. Do u know how hard they have to work in order to get day to day food...(which consists dedho if lucky rice and dal?) U must be joking!Dedho is not considered a nutritional diet haha! Do u know how many kids die of nutritional insufficiency especially when they are infants? Do u know women giving birth too many children and not getting enough nutrients are dying? So only when the countrymen are dying of starvation, it is considered the poor people. GIVE ME A BRAKE!

-2)" Are we developed? surely nope that is also nice answer '

We aren't developed but shouldn't we try to be developed instead of doing zero work to improve? Yes, refrigeration, washing machine, microwave should save a lot of time and energy for women hmm.... they can take care of themselves when they have time away from regular chores......remember they aren't machines. May be she can help her husband in the field and make more money hhaha! To become a naturalist, u don't have to go 4 miles to fetch the water early in the morning and get sick by polluted water. It's not their choice it's their last resort for survival. Refrigerator, washing machine, microwave doesn't pollute the environment dear!I am an environmentalist too, I recycle plastic and cans every week, I don't throw papers, plastics everywhere, planning to buy a hybrid car, spend a little more and support organic food stores.... etc ..U don't have to tell me dear!

3)-"Okay we dominate the womens? yeah nope... "

HELL YEAH u dominate women! Oh so glad to hear men respecting women by buying them a piece of jewelry in reward for abusing her and sleeping with four other women. They call women godesses and sell them to other countries, use them as slaves.Good to hear women get more than men in dowry?? how about selling their daughter to a 60 yrs. old man? She has to get married no matter what? Will that money make their daughter happy if she's married to a 60 yrs old! Think again deary! These literal fools are impressed by your level of maturity denying that men are abnormal. How can they be normal when someone like u thinks everything is great in society where men don't have any name for having four wives and women have several names even she's not sleeping with any? How can they be normal when they burn their wives alive, beat as hell?

HMM....the kids in villages can do better than just learning modern farming dear..... they are smart than u think! So many kids from villages have proven u wrong. I still say the major development of a person comes from education which opens eyes to the outer world, possibilities, skills too. All they know in life is farming then they go no where. Yes, they might be little richer but nothing beyond that. No wonder Nepal hasn't developed rapidly like some others has! And lastly this thread's about Women's Right.....so no matter what kind of farming skill men get....that doesn't guarantee they will stop abusing their wives dear! Education is the only way for the ignorant brain!

well there are nepali people who are starving .i disagree with clcikerclcik there liek for example the karanali region.and some other points are there where i dont agreee.

sweetpie ,you are one person with a mero goru ko barai takka attitude.how many girls are married to a 60 yr old man?????? you say girls are trafficked well does it happen in your america .... why blame that as a discrimination well they traffic women all the places and not only in nepal, its a bad thing true but is the word discrimination right here.not getting rights is discrimination as far as i know.well i am not good in englsih as you as i am mere nepali and not a great american
personallly speaking i respect women and their rights for eveything but i hate bitches blaming everything on males.
women are to e respected for being a women.and ev eryman must do that who ever doesnt is wrong .but its not necesaary to respect a bitch like there are murkha rakchyas in the male part .
still its a mans world and a man needs a woman in form of a mother, friend and a lover.the bottom line is respect women not b..........

Mahakal, does the number of women who marries 60 yrs has to be counted to prove u? Plenty in villlages and few in KTM......in general the meaning of this phrase is that they can't choose their own partners and most of the time get to marry older men because of parent's pressure! HMM! u heard that women are trafficked from USA? HMM! is that women or drugs that u heard? I have never never heard it......even if there is must beone or two case not like thousands like in Nepal! Is it worth comparing?

One thing is, sure.....men who respect don't call out "*****" to women no matter what. U think I am ***** because I state the obvious? U treat me like as if I have killed somebody. Well......there aren't bad names for some bad men in our society then I created one....does it hurt? U guys have tons of names for women hmmm....how does it feel now?

Women are born as a mother, sister, lover. It's the society that makes them *****. They have to stand up for themselves otherwise men will walk all over them. They must be able to speak out and say the truth. If for this, they are being mocked then go to hell! U can curse as much as u want but women know why and what I am talking about! Not many men can tolerate women talking and challenging men....so u don't either....but accept it because it's gonna get worse!

Sweet pie... my girl... are you here to discuss something or to tell something... yeah if you are here to tell us about your new car...the money you have... and how much big your heart is... we have seen it... topic is over... if not...then live once with them being a part of them in village.. then you will know the truth... you said 2 month you have spend there... and you have analyzed everything in 2 months.... you are surely genius baby... You must remember one thing dear... people varies and thier needs from place to place... Just like sherpas are good in climbing and people from terai are good in farming..and as well their necessity also differs... Car is the necessity in the USA where as in Nepal its not necessary... now next time don`t come here and argue that why nepalese people don`t have cars too.. And as far as your concern about education will eradicate discrimination I completely disagree with you cause education and awareness are completely different topics. and as far your seeing farming as the backward profession, we can analyze how childish your mentality is. And yeah stop thinking that you are the genius and the richest... I do have my own car and yeah I am doing vegetable farming..infact I am studying it.
And yeah do you know that women selling culprits includes women themself...and tell me how many people in Nepal walks 4 miles to fetch water and how many women are married to nepal with 60 year age difference... can you give us citation...and while giving us citation please do mention the percentage of those mass too. I hope you will be able to that as I consider you a genius and you won`t be just speaking rumours.

Good one ClickerClick.. Did she tell she went to village and stay there for 2 months and knew every thing LOL? Sweetie I was born and raised in one of the remotest village where my BABA used to walk extra miles to bring water everyday, bring something to eat for supper and my Mama used to take care of house hold stuff and same applies to my neighbour.. I could recall once or twice some Samaz Sewi came to my village, their talk spellbounded each and every individual in begining.. Later most of us realized, action of those women aggrssive in nature (just like how you are reacting in Sajha). It seemed to me they consider my Father is all time great foe of my mother. What they didn't tried to figure out is , there are always certain bounderies for a woman so to a man.

Just like you may be they were rich, they have enough time to bullshit around and bring tension in the family..Gradually we felt offended by their practice. And one day one of my Didi came back to visit us in my village were highly educated. Highly educated in the sense she had master degree in Sociology and were doing PHD. In contrary those women were jack who collect info from here and there, may most of those information were from SADHANA PATRIKA. Didi noticed that these sort of activity may bring some sort of instability in our small village. Later she held meeting with all those Samaj Sewi, and she figured out their motives. Their point is woman should have right. Well we know women should be treated equally. But when didi asked "where, in this place, did you see a single woman is being discriminated", the answer was "They cook, the clean, the take care of kids"..What a jerk were they? And didi simply ask "Do you regret to take care of your children?" and again asked "Are you guys saying taking care of children, feedin them from breast is consequence of discrimination?"..They were speechless.. Didi said Society is so well- balanced by Men and Women.. Changes is necesssary where it is needed not like this... In name of changes balanced of society and nature cannot be altered totally. Education, illimination of poverty, laws and order should be established in country then this things change gradually..Didi ask those women "Have any one you asked Mother of this village that an education to the daughter is necessary?"..Lol they forgot to, coz they were just busy washing brain of our mothers against our fathers.

Bond with certain restriction doesn't necessarily mean women are treated differenetly..Yes in Nepal some of our mothers and sisters are suffering but just not becoz of Men, their are various factor related. What make you come to Sajha and put your views and ideas, Sweetie? You are educated and you know stuffs, you have maid who works for you, you have car, money and loving husband..Then, you have time to think about other women suffering right? Put yourself in shoes of those unfortunate mothers who are not materially sophisticated. Will you be protesting MURDABAD against your husband just becoz you are a woman and you are in Nepal where Men are jerk? Sweetie, I know my Mother is not educated but she has sense, she knows how things work. Thats why I am here well established in US becoz of them (my mom and dad). Where would I be if my MOM were like you who sees everything bad about my DAD? Fortunately you have American Husband, otherwise I would be so sorry for that Nepali Husband.

Sweetie maiya aba ta atti nai bho binti cha hazur ko gaan gaan banda garnus..BTW mero budi le hazur ko lekh padli ra mero birodh ansan basna thalli..Atleast for now were living happily..

yes it has to be counted to be proven....casue you cant generalize few exceptions.
women are allowed to choose their men but yeah you are right on that though not a lot of them can.its the same lady, may be a little less but men cant choose either.its the system that bau ama decides.we dont have free society like america and we really dont be proud moving out from our parents unlike america.so,thats the difference in system.may be a lil irrelevant but true may be thats one of the reason that there are not a lot of divorce cases unlike america.
yeah women trafficing well may be they dont take women from america and take them to mexico but a lot of pimping goes there doesnt it ......... trafficing may not be the right word but oh well i am poor in english than you.
i dont treat you as you killed anybody casue i have nothing persoanl against you.you are you i respect a free independent woman that you are but i dont really respect the "me is american" attitude denouncing us,ie nepalis all the time.you write as if we nepalis are all ignorant nonsense illeterate unaware peoples and specially the males.
well honestly women are capable to almost everything a man can, except for the physical things well but that is natural.and i havea ll the respect for women but for those women who are women ie kind hearted soft souls.they can be very tough which is repectable as well but being tough and ,ok,******ing are two differnet thing arent they.
i still hold it that i have repect to the all the woman but i dont respect ***** .thats true

Dear Clickerclick, at what point did I mention about my new car and money??? U are putting words in my mouth! Don't try to let me down because of your impression of what I am.....GIVE ME A BRAKE! U are the first person who says awareness and education is a two different thing..hmmmm.interesting..... All right...what can I say...u said it yourself!

Do I need to tell u how many women go far to fetch water?? What a joke? Majority of women in Villages dear....even foreigners know that! Don't u? Now I have to prove u with the percentage to prove that women are oppressed?? What grade are u in? Even a 12 yrs old know that! Half of Nepal doesn't have power and taps.....and yes like u said that they have plenty of food to eat..hahaha.....u better check the statistics yourself dear and come talk with me!!

Pieces, what's a boundry for a man? I want to know. Does that even compare with women? HAHA! only your didi who is educated and good and not the other women??your educated didi didn't talked about half of the topic I touched on dear. How about abuse, family planning, getting married in the early age and getting pregnant early(it's extemely dangerous for a teenager, they can die from it) etc......

Your point, "Their point is woman should have right. "

I am speechless to say that u are an educated male at this point! What a shame man! Do-not write a para like this and prove that women are rightly treated. Yes, taking care of children without husband's help, cooking, cleaning are major chores...their whole lives are spent on them. If they have family planning they can have 2 kids and be happy than having 6 kids. Did your sister tell them about they are abused, burned too?

you said" Society is so well- balanced by Men and Women.. Changes is necesssary where it is needed not like this... In name of changes balanced of society and nature cannot be altered totally." Whoever says these words are themselves not from this century..these are the most conservative and ignorant views.....I am laughing....typical male oriented view... Enough dear! U are cracking me up!

Who said I have maid? In US people don't have maids....they do everything themselves..if u are in USA how come u didn't know? U are in USA are u have such a backward mind man.... I still can't believe it! Your mum was uneducated and that's all right...what do u mean...if your mum had thought about your dad like me? Was she abused and she kept quite about it? She kept it to herself to send u abroad? Is that what u mean?? U feel she did a good thing? oh my god!

And yes I wouldn't be surprised if your wives protest against u when she read my things... comm on..no offense but I really find it amusing....u have a wife but u still don't understand? Please try to.....what women (your mum and wife) go through no joke!

Mahakal, I am sick of fighting with u...I don't wanna offense u... so far I am very proud of u in this thread that u aren't cursing me! U are bringing up points.....keep it that way! Thanks for your generous thoughts there.....appreciate it. I am not trying to bitch or prove that I am better in anyway. U might take me as that. I have seen so much abuses in Nepal that I hate most men there. I hated to see all u men rising against me to prove that men aren;t that way. I couldn't believe it.....may be u don't feel about women that way but there are plenty of men out there treating them like a stone man! It's so painful to see that......I used to see my cousins and other women in my town come home with bruises and were crying all the time....it's like u sit there and watch them and u couldn't do anything for them u know....I feel really helpless....therefore I seriously want to do something...please take me seriously!

Yes in USA there is great deal of divorce rate than Nepal but I think it's for good. Women here can choose to leave and marry someone else or live alone 'cause they are independent, educated and skilled. Whereas in Nepal, women don't have education not skills and right after they get married they have kids.... there's no way women can get divorce and support herself and kids therefore are forced to live in the same roof with several other wives of the husband. Nobody wants to do that! There is no system in Nepal that forces a man to divorce a wife before getting married again.

Pimping is not trafficking. It's that pimps handle few prostitues...it's like a boss. But they aren't sold to another country. Thanks Mahakal! Thanks for understanding!CHEERS!

Well I said awakening .... anyway you have funny english saying you need a brake...LOL
That is the difference between you and me dear... you say education is necessary where as awakening.. cause I have seen the level of discrimination is not less in the educated people and not more in the illetrate. Yeah lots of village don`t have tap which bring water into their home...but tell me how many villages are there where women has to walk 4 miles to fetch water...don`t exaggerate the picture and for your kind information if they have to walk 4 miles then it will be the male who will be fetching water not female okay.
And as for saying that even 12 years old knows all these facts... that is the point my dear... I don`t believe and act like 12 year old. I have been there ....lived with them...seen the things with my own eyes. Infact I am not surprise when you talk like this over here...cause back then I had the same interpretation...but when you live with them.. then you will know the good and bad points. Now you are analyzing by being isolated from the society you want to change depending upon the secondary data. What about moving inside and then analyse it. Development is very easy word to say... and yeah its very easy also to blame others also.
As far as me saying nobody in Nepal had yet died of starvation, do I need to check the data. can you show me one person who died because he didn`t have foods to eat unlike the cases of some other countries like sudan and other that we see in News. I don`t mean that they have more to eat..
Anyway lets not talk about who is right and who is wrong ... that will prove nothing. It would have great thing to you instead of taking all the things that we have mentioned as your pride consider those suggestion for your action. But I am sure you won`t do that. No matter how long you have been in US and how much you consider yourself educated I know one thing that you have no thirst to educate yourself. You talk about the social revolution... development and blah blah... but you don`t want to fit into their shoes. How can you say that those things that you have seen with your eyes are only the best things. Why not consider some one else`s view too. or are you afraid of growing.
Development is not bad and no body will stand against you...but it has to be integrated one.. it has to be in the correct phase.
Even if I consider your example like women has to walk 4 miles to get water... then what your plan has to be ... to provide the water in such a way that they don`t need to waste their energy and time nope... but what help it will be if you talk about the womens right or sex education there. Can you see the point that I am talking about.
And lastly tell me one thing do you think that if every wife of Nepal stand against their husband your mission will be complete. They will be equal. Being Husband and wife is not about counting the differences, protesting about each other, it should be more about love.
The problem of you is like you are happy to see someone else`s wife standing for protest. where as I am happy to see they are living together despite of differences. And as for understanding wife and mom... what about you.. have you understood your hubby and you dad completely???

Now I am sure what kind of woman are ill-treated..? .. Ok give me a brake .. I will be back tomorrow,,Hai sweet..By the way I have my wife read this forum .. She laughed, not at me..Now don't say "your wife is conservative and back from the century" hehehe..Well you can say that coz u r from 30th century...

BTW Sweety I guess I am warning you, I mention about my mom just to justify what I wanted to say -- not for you to utter a single word about her alright.. I hate people when they talk about my MOM..Lets not mention...

Alright wait for me tomo, I will be back..

i know what a pimp is sweetpie .ever read anything about pimps or articles ????????? read it how they lure the high school girls to go into the prostituion.well ,it may not be exactly like trafficking but it the smae like what you describe about nepal.the pimp here lures the girl and sell them to india and the pimp there dont sell em to mexico or canda.well thats the difference but that thing includes both luring and prostitution.sweetpie i am not that much very poor in english that i dont understand what a pimp is,althoughi am a nepali.
i htink what i said in the earlier thread is right.you must be from the age before us,other wise i dont think there are men with several wives.baje baraju ko pala ma hunthyo rey i know that but now well you need to give figures for things like this to prove and also 60 yr man marrying a young girl.casue it is utterly baseless.
its hard for a man to get a divorce than it is for a woman to get one.there is provision for divorcce in the nepali constituiton and women can get one if they wish to.and there are hundreds of cases and you can get that figure.and there is a provision that a man can be legally stooped of marrying if the wife cahrgesa against him.bahu bibah kanuni aparadh ho.
so you mean to alll the wwomn in america have skills.....well its the system as i said a woman is proud to bring up her child in a proper way here in nepal.now if bringing up child is a women right discrimination then yeah it is big in nepal and i think women here are proud of this discrimination except some women who are conciouos not to breast feed.
you talk as if there are no wife beaters in america.nepal is the worst and merica is the greatest.testo saro chai nabhanum na hau.
i dont say women are not domintaed in nepal but its not as big as you say and its not only the males who do that, remeber women is the biggest enemy of women.

hahah guys, SP le timi haru lai kachai khancha..

mahakal, u do have a good point now..everywhere its the same thing, jad khaiera budi lai kutne, budi le ghar safa garne, and all those other abuses that women have to go thru. Mahakal, u are just condradicting ur self, in earlier post u said y we there is no men rights movements? because beating wife is not a woman its a man, and thats y we need woman rights..

u still have unnesscary arguments on ur post Mahakal, Bhuwan K.C has 2 or 3?? and other baseless arguments..Piseces timi ta bro, afai khalto khanera tehi dubi ra chau..:)

and Mahakal, being a prostitute by her own free will is diff. and being forced to be a prostitute is diff. ..luring ur talking abt is money??( which is most of the time), financial diffculty, and if a women agress to perform such a job, and is above the lawful age, why is there a problem?? being a prostitute and forced to be a prostitute are two diff. sides..

Sanu_Mem ji... Ek choti matthi dekhi nai Padera Aunuhos na ani bicha bicha pwakka pwakka lekhnu hoos.

For your info you said that you guys should start your "women's right" campaign from my house, but I am still single. However send me your address I will invite as soon as I get married.

And next thing I haven't got chance to watch that Salman BRO movie..Huncha Aja beluki hernu parla...That statement is told by one of my KHAIRE fren, probably he saw that movie with subtitle. I shall check out from him.

About being semi nude, I didn;t give it a high priority.. I just wanted to point out there is always difference betw a MAN and a WOMAN, however unknowlingly u support my point by putting the example of "girl showing Belly"..Thats what I mean their is always a difference.., don't you think.?

I am lil harsh on this matter not becoz sweetie talked something wrong, becoz in every freakin thread she has so hated a nepali MAN.. She thinks Nepali Man are a faggot, thats what pissed me off..

Sanu_Mem actually you don't know me thats why you are callin me retarded watever ..But, specially my girl (not yet marry), always says she has never found a guy like me who respects a girl too that extend.. I think she is not lying..And I haven't found a girl like her either, who respect a guy.. BTW if you are guy, do you beat your wife??? Or Have seen any male in your family beating his wife?? I think thats why you have that sense of notion about beating or harming a Woman....Thats not my family's tradition..Don't worry I love my girl a lot, and she is everything to me. I don't even touch her against her will..Thats what an understanding a feelin means..U got it..

I know what you will write next, you will write "my girl is Retarded or illiterate" , whatever, that doesn't bother me..

Hai ta Sanu_mem, paachi kura garula..
