aisiyo gaisiyo words r used by common chettris. thakuris they use aaibaksiyos gaibaksiyos. sutibaksiyos.. if one gets mad ( hajur kasto sankibaksiya na sankibaksiyos natra moribaksincha) this also sounds coooool...aisiyo n gaisiyo r commonly used in CB families now a days (CB= chettri, bahun)..well i m a chettri aswell. wat is problem with these words..showing respect to elders wont harm u.

Thakuris/Chhetris commonly use aisyo, gaisyo and the -baksyos form too. Its the culture. Other cultures have their own language. Only chhetris/ thakuris dnt have other language besides Nepali. Now if this is our kind, then wht is the problem here. If it is pleasing to sb's ears on sayin hajur - syos ...then y not! When we are not having problem in using it why are u people??????We dnt criticze the way newaris or anyother languages is spoken. Y do u people always come up with pathetic issues..have some life people! . uh ya..one of these days...most of the bahuns as well as some newaris have started using it too...so people are luving it eh?

see sosaysi buddy. thakuris claim themselves to b royal which they were some time before or recently. In no thakuri family they use aisiyo n gaisiyo ...siyo is heavily used in normal chettri family n bahuns family. long time before in common chettri n bahuns family they never used siyo..if they had to call their dad to have dinner "aa bau bhat khana aau" language changes its pattern, society always creates classes slowly with time. N if u go to Thakuri family u will surely hear baksiyo n baks. Thakuri chettris r also chettris, normal chettris r chettris, n khattri chettris r also chettris. To maintain their class they use this. There is no bad in using these kind of language. orginal ma ta hamra bau bajey le ta bau ama haru lai timi bhanthiye. suddo haru bistarai change bhayera nikaleko language siyo naramro ta chaina alik sabhya nai cha. tara orginality pani chodnu hunna..jo jo lai timi bhanna mann cha go ahead..n whoever r after siyo go after it but don comment abt it. ur tone, ur language is urs so y to compromise if someone comments. aba bujisiyo( aba buji baksiyo) ...kasto raggg gardibaksiyeko..gaibaks ek dui round LT diyera aibaks. aba nepal lai autonomous region banaune re tei bhara jai nepal bhannu sarai garo garidibaksine hoisincha so jai dharan bhannu parla parena bhane aru jun parcha tei bhanchu hai. ahile chai jai nepal.

"In no thakuri family they use aisiyo n gaisiyo ...siyo is heavily used in normal chettri family n bahuns family." Dharane Kancha, My aunt is a royalty ( in relation with the royal family), although -baksyos is the original form, they do use -syos. In fact her kids most of often use it, perhaps its easier tht way ..no wonder it got shortened to -syos. Chhetri families do use -baksyos too. It no big deal. "long time before in common chettri n bahuns family they never used siyo". Thakuris never used it either. Remember the aaya-gaya form of Prihivi Narayan Shah ??? I dnt know bout maintaining class. If u wanna use it go ahead...nobody is gonna tell u not to and its not that overnite ur class changes. I just think its the beauty of language. Take it or leave it. Well, I am pleased, anytime sb tells me -baksyos...:D... Aba bhanna man chiana bhane khurukkana na bhanne. sakihalyo ni. katro discussion ho yo. Thakuri bhaneko ni chhetri nai ho...aba kina chhuttaudai highlight gardai thread banaune....we ourselves create the differences this way and make people more conscious. khurukkana -sabai nepali with different spoken styles. the end. ps- dharan is a beautiful place. Where r u located?

nepal was about " ta timi tapai" reflecting social status each at level, some caste felt most are reaching "tapai" level they started using "hajur" and khaisos laisos bullshit ! people who said "who cares" ? it does, it reflects the current socio status and prevalent index of self gratification . western don't have one but we do it even when everybody reaches "tapai" level go to next level, this show how on sect reacts when equality is imminent and reaches equilibrium. fascinating , do they say hagisyos? just curious

Do you say Hag or Hagnus? Just curious. Yes, West has one. We have plenty. We have ta, timi, tapai, hajur, mausuf. You are okay with the first three but hajur is what pushes your button? Then don't use that term, kurai khattam.

@bokaman @divorceguy gorikopoi ... I 'll give you both some suggestion here...Go and tell your sister and mum about all those words you're writing here...then listen how they react...may be you'all grew up in the house hold where respect means "shit" .Otherwise stfu and get some life ....low life may be your past and present but you can change yourself into something better .

@bokaman Do non thakuris "memsahebs" say Thok, chhira, haan, poka maad? Or Thoknus, chhiraunus, maadnus? Ours aren't thakuris and they don't; since you asked I am just curious whether yours do, otherwise why would you ask, right?
