Wake up boyz and galz......... NFL kickoff is just 48 hrs away. Can you believe it??? Go get your team shirts and pigskins to throw in the snow. Let's talk some Football here. Let each other know about your favorite team and share what each of us has to say about this NFL season. By the way.. if you guys do not have a favorite team yet or have a doubt that your team might bring to you another disappointing season then............ here's a solution. Rooot for the NEW England Patriots. It's always a safe bet. I got my BRady shirt and the Patriot Hats.......... I gotta go pick up my Ty Law Shirt and Rodney Harrison shirts as well (..well that depends on how much BUCK I can afford to spend!!!!!$$). So guys Watch for them COwboys. GO patriots go. Jai Nepal

Hey AX Bro, I never said I do not like the Huskers. The West Coast Offense he is introducing in Nebraska so far looks pretty effective. however, I haven't been so impressed by their QB Dailey (he is a true freshman or something???) at all. The commentators were telling that He used to play in the similar (west Coast) offense back in High school (NY), but I guess he should have been throwing lot more completions than he is throwing at the moment. We are talking about the QB position, so he gotta thrive in the Calahan system. As I told you guys, I used to be OSU fan. Since the third week of last years College Football season, the Sooners caught my attention. I guess BIG 12 is the best COnference this season. Texas (Long horns), OKhaloma State along with My SOONERS (OU) can be the team to beat this year. AX bro... do not get too excited because I am talking about the Big 12 here. I know your Huskers are in the BIG 12 also. Other than BIG 12, Pac 10 looks little impressive. Mostly because of the TRoJANS. They are also a team to beat. ACC is also strong with the introduction of the Hurricanes. yet, I am gonna put my MONEY on the Sooners. GO Sooners go. Jai Nepal

Big 12 is a powerhouse. One of the team always plays for the Natioanl Champioinship ( ie Huskers or Sooners) about the USC. don't know why I feel USC will lose to Cal. They play on oct 9th. I was pretty impressed under the Tedford Offense.

Atlanta vs Arizona ===> Atlanta (one of the best vs the worst) Baltimore vs Cincinnati===> Baltimore (Ravens' avg offense and good defense is too much for rookie QB) Philly vs Detroit===> Detriot (Cinderella story???) Houston vs KC ===> KC (KC can't go 0-3, the kid larry Johsnson w/o diaper is enuff for new expansion team ;) Pittsburgh vs Miami ===> Pitts (Miami, the team I used to root for stinks on offenese) Chicago vs Minnesota ===> Minnesota (too much offense for Lovies defense) Cleveland vs NY Giants ===> NY Giants (Giants defense will prevail) New Orleans vs St.Louis ===> St. Louis/b> (no Duece) Jags vs Tennessee ===> Tennessee ( steve da man) San Diego vs Denver ===> Denver (Denver is well balanced in offense and defense) Green Bay vs Indianapolis ===> Indy (tuff to beat Manning and harrison combo) San Fran vs Seattle ===> Seattle (not even close) Tampa vs Oakland ===> Oakland (revenge) Dallas vs Washington ===> Dallas (Tuna is the best)

oh I thought OU vs. TTU game was this weekend. Let's save it for the next week. The Rams disappointed me. What a game by the Jaguars defense. HOuston beat Kansas city.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the Hell is wrong with the CHiefs? THE D-SUCKed as always. However, the CHIEFS had lacked the OFFensive numbers from last couple of seasons also. SHould I pick them for the next week?? I will think twice. Damn the FIsh. someone save the COACH's job. Actually it's the curse of Mr. Ricky Williams. Wahuuuuuu what a game. THe COlts won. Over 800 yards of total offense in the game. Look at Favre: 4 TDS 0 INT. Over 350 yards of passing yards. And. look at Manning 5 TD, 0 Int. Over 350 yards of passing yards. Never seen a game of such offensive battle before. It was A great day for Manning, FAvRE, WAYNE,and Walker. Walker got his ball stripped of his hands after catching a pass from Favre, which I think was the MOST important Play of the Game. THat play setup a TD run for Edge James. Otherwise, the momentum Favre and his offense was gaining at that period of time would have lead the Packers towards another score. THe Packers were already in the Colts territory by then. I Thought the game would go to the OVertime until that fumble took place. SO far... a very good NFL season. Tomorrow night's game will be a Nail-biting one. GO PATs Go. jai Nepal

Did you guys saw the shoot out between the Favre and P. Manning??? That was an awesome game. Trick play from Tuna's book was good last nite . I think that play won him the game. ******************************* rameshbabu, dunno where did you get 13-1 for week 2. For week 3, you were pathetic with 42.86% (6-8) Please don't spoil this thread. Peace Out

Ya, Colts vs Packers game was that best!! What an offensive display!! But one thing I don't understand about media is that they try to compare Manning and Favre as if they are on the same level...they are not!! Manning should not be called the best QB in NFL..he is a good QB with a bright future..How can you compare him with Favre if he had his first taste of playoff victory only last year..and thats after 5 years in the league..!! I think Favre still is still one of the best QB in the league.and hope he continues for another 3 years..I wanna see him break Marino's TD record...dont count him out yet!! Anyway ..Ihope to have better luck next time . Btw Skins game was a bust..they refs blew two calls..and SKins got burnt...

Nice Job AX... FAlcons bro.. DOn't get too excited. The Falcons have yet to meet a good team. Most of us expected them to beat the Cardinals by a huge margin. How disappointing: he just completed 10 passes I guess. It took them the whole game to snap the game away from the Cardinals. SO far, ATLANTA vs. ARIZONA has been the SLOPPIEST football game of all. THe Highschool games are better than that. However, it's nice to be on the win column and now 3-0. I guess that's the only the SECOND time in their history (to start 3-0). COwboys Vs. REdskins game was a stunner. it came down to the last minute. What a job by the cowboys offense (to use as much time as possible). Brunnel PRoved why he was the STARTING QB for REdskins and not Ramsey in the 4th Qtr. Anyways, it was a good football weekend. I guess most of us miised the PAtriots play. Don't worry people, they are going to be back this weekend. Against the BIlllllllllllllls..... I guess Bledsoe will throw for 3 TDS.... SUrprise uhuh... I meant INterception (for us PATs fans they will be returned for TDS.) SO it will be like TDS burst on SUnday. GO PATS Gp. Jai Nepal

I will have my predictions for this upcoming week very soon...I went 13-1 last week...The reason why my record is so much better than Proudnepali's or Ax's is because while they take team records, players, injuries, home-field etc into account before prediciting who is gonna win, I simply disregard all that nonsense...I just pick the team whose city has the ugliest looking women...That way the players are angry when they get on the field and take out their anger on the other team....Thats why cities with the most pretty women have the poorest records...and places such as Foxboro where many ugly women reside they bring home all the titles..

I hear ya. However, Vikings, Packers, Seattle, Saints and Pathers are still better teams than the Falcons. At the end of the season, Falcons might be fighting for the WIld Card spot. SO CHilli out Bro. GO Pats go Jai Nepal

Who told you "Vikings, Packers, Seattle, Saints and Pathers are still better teams than the Falcons" ? So that means every other team in the conference should just stop playing, right? Falcons could go 3-13 or maybe they'll go 16-0 only time will tell, upper comment was just my honest openion. Aren't you a Sox fan?

S-A, I think Falcons is better than last year but u cant compare them with better teams like Vikings, packers, SEAHAWKS ...Seahawks is gonna be the team to beat this year....i m pretty sure they will go all the way....they got the best Offense n their D has improved a lot.....Atlanta is only about VICK...if u take out Vick from the picture, u dont get anything from them.......so u just pray he stays healthy !!! I would say Falcons will end season with the record 10-6 / 9-7 ....Wild Card !!!!

aakash bro, i agree. Seahwank is really good this year. Defense is much better and Holmgreen seems to be much relieved w/o GM duty. He is a great coach and should only concentrate on coaching. Finally time to give some credit for ex HUSKER Grant Wistrom? http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/12838 I have never seen the worst 3-0 teams than Jags and Falcons like this year. now don't try to flatten yourself comparing Falcons to NFC powerhouse like Eagles, Vikings and Seahawks.
