...he is attracted to her friend in one way or the other.

She appreciates his honesty but she wonders does he really love her? Why can't he completely focus on what he has at the moment ie. his gf? Is this men-hypocrisy-syndrome? Is it that they can't help hanging around to explore other possible opportunities available even when they have good, honest and faithful gfs? When will they be satisfied...when?

have the clue. He loves me. It's just that MEN hormone thing which you cannot do anything about. Besides he is not that mature and that is the major problem I think. He still loves to play hide and seek with kids. He actually does whenever he gets a chance. MEN are MEN and KIDS are KIDS. Nothing can be done about these two.
