Nepalese student found dead in hostel

Dharmapuri, Jan 24: A Nepalese student of a private pharmacy college at Periyampatti, 23 km from here, was found dead in his hostel room today, police said.
Twenty-one-year old Bimal Dahal, son of Harihar Dahal, chief district officer of Kathmandu, was doing his B.Pharm course in Sri Padmavathi College of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences.
The body was recovered from the hostel room and was sent to Dharmapuri government hospital for post-mortem.
However, the post-mortem would be conducted only after the arrival of Bimal's parents.
The reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained, police said.
A case has been registered at Karimangalam police station near here. (Agencies)
