All I know is ---its a series of books, and Harry Potter is character written by JK Rowlings. I also watched once HARRY POTTER movie but I lhave no clue why the whole world go so crazy abt this???????

And stil I ve no knowledge abt Harry Potter except the fat guy living next door named HARRY.

If you're not interested in Harry Potter it is your prerogative. To really understand its appeal to people both young and old...and of all races..you simply have to read it. Some people just aren't interested in reading books and that's fine, some just prefer other kinds of books and that's fine as well. However, I like the series and think that it is one of the best series ever written. It is right up there next to trilogies like Lord of the Rings and others....

But if you want to know what it is about.. I could tell you the whole story in five minutes. The plot is really simple but its appeal is vast....

I agree with the cheesy ending part, but have to disagree that it was disappointing. It could have been better but in my opinion it was nice (cheesy if you will.

To aarya... are you trying to say that the millions of people who get in line to watch harry potter every time it is released are 10? It is something else to not be interested in HP, however to insult the intelligence of people who actually watch and read it (by suggesting they are 10)... Okay if you say so, go tell millions of people that they are "silly" just like me for reading these books and watching these movies.. Okay I am silly, and I do enjoy these books, but why are you so worried about other people reading these books? I do admit I am not a teenager (and no I am not 10 either), and I do enjoy a good book.... almost every genre, and if i enjoy a book that will someday become a classic like Dickens, then it is my choice.

I doubt you've even read a page of the HP series, so your opinions are based on prejudice. Read it and then come back here and give an opinion that is not biased and based on hearsay!!

Read a book moron, even the first one and you'll know what it's all about and that goes to everyone else...including amazing..just read the first 6 chapters and you'll love it.
