Indian think tank is still trying Sreesanth(He fits for test not for one day match).They should go with Pathan(he can bat too.).

It's not about any team winning the World Cup....It's about getting a privilege to play in the finals and lose against Australia.

Irfan Pathan , MS Dhoni & Shewag can go at any place according to the need of team. They provide flexibility to the team. Sachin and Shewag can roll their arm in between when needed.

gyanguru ,I disagreed with your team India line up for the following reasons
1) Sending YuvaRaj Singh at number 2( We can keep him at no 12)
2)I won't recommend both Agarkaar and Pathan palying in same game(either one of them provides balance to the team)
3) Sreesanth will not be selected for World Cup(My guess)

I completely disagree that Ajit Agarkar or Irfan Pathan both do the same job although they both are allrounder.
Irfan Pathan is a big hitter and can go in any slot ... while Agarkar cannot do the same,, he can bat a bit but cannot provide the flexibility. He is more a bowler than a dependable allrounder. I completely take Agarkar as a bowler who can bat a bit.

I agree with Gyanguru this time.But my logic of taking either of them is different.For opening spell,undoubtedly,there are Jahir and Munaf.Chosing Pathan means giving depth to batting line up as well and his bowling is as good as agarkar(may be even better when in firm) and Indian can not afford to play with four medium/fast pacer.In this scenario,either one of them will be chosen for number 8.And if they opt to chose Pathan,they can even send them up the order(as you said)....

The only thing that worries me abt indian team is fielding. Without raina, kaif and other youngsters , indian fielding is sloppy . It was seen yesterdays match between srilanka. However our catching is above average. Yes with pathan shewag dhoni we have batting
flexibility. Yuraj is the backbone of indian team, he is a match winner as he has proved it. He is the best fielder in the side right now. GO india ..........We have full ingredients to win the WC this time.
