This is just thought , We Nepalese are very forgiving and forgetting people. we have forgiven Girija 4 times and all those bastards and now we are ready to forgive maoist. we so easily forgive corrupt leaders and killers. This king just killed 21 .Man what is 21 when girija has killed more than 21 people and maoist 21000. Can we give one more chance to king to be good king may be in ceremonial way? Practicing compassion which i learned in this sajah from gurus like money minded.

Several questions to you Mr/ Mrs/ Miss/Comrad? -
Can this man on pic forgive you for forgiving king? -
Can this man gonna stop financial extortion from businesses? -
Is his son or daughter gonna be better than Paras? -
Is he gonna declare holiday on Maoist's birthday? -
Is he going to ask his fellas (who helped him to get into power) to change their name as follows: Old Hindu Nepal New Secular (Hush.. Christian by 2010) Girija P Koirala Jerry Paul Kennedy or Comrade Gong Pong Kee Madhav Nepal Marx Neal or Comrade Moo Nee so on Final thought, stop posting these nonsense topics. Nobody cares about what you guys think or write here. Like Mark Neal (formerly, Madhav Nepal) once said, you'll be left behind if you dont go along with wherever the hell they're taking us. - Lord Maoist & Lord Prachanda

The King has done nothing to be asked for forgivance. If the same mob had been in DC , they would be crushed to death for vandalizing the public property. The King showed most restraint. Have you heard of "black panthers", the communist groups that existed in 50s and 60s in USA? They are nowhere now, they were crushed to death by the govt. itself. The King never did anything and then why does he need forgivance?

Sorry for the duplicate posting earlier, Im with Amrit Joshi, But the sad part is: These SPAM people who masterminded all these chaos and ruined Nepal for the last decades kept repeating the same mistakes. and..they. never needed any forgiveness, and Nepalese people kept re-electing them, and will always, and gotta live with that fact.

ktmeye, So just because we are scared of maoist-commies, we should not forgive king. joshi, i do not agree with you completely .As i think the king is not an ideal king .He instead of ruling indulged himself in recreation and spending country's money.he has no love for nepalese people.BUt however,it is symbolic to have monaracy and i do not want any commies like prachanda becoming nepal's next President .I would like nepalese people to forgive King beacuse nepalese people are more compassionate. And let him be in the palace.

"He instead of ruling indulged himself in recreation and spending country's money.he has no love for nepalese people.BUt however,it is symbolic to have monaracy." What is the proof of all this??? Hey comon do you remember Girija and his daughter in the LAUDA kanda??? What was the outcome of that?? Do you remember Girija taking down RNAC and Sajha yatayat? I remember seeing the King visiting places almost every month...sometimes even more than a two times a month including places like rolpa, rukkum... How do you say he was indulged in recreation and spending country's money. I remember him asking the parties to come for talks for the sake of the nation in his every speech. I once read an interview with Taranath Ranabhat in nepalnews where he has said that he himself went to call Girija because the King had called him for reinstatement of the parliament. Girija, while he was giving speech for the reinstatement of the parliament never went to meet the King. Hey how come people believe in every rumour the SPAM spreads?

I dont think that ppl care about what gyane did compared to girija and others. Girija can be removed easily if he fks up again. But no one will dare to do that to the king if he does something wrong. What ppl want is the the end of fuedal kingshisp in nepal which they believe is the root cause of our backwardness. If Ppl wish they can forgive him by not slaughtering him in the street. They can forgive him by letting him exile peacefully. Or forgive him by just letting him be a businessman that he always was. But they definitly cannot forgive him to let him be the king again. I think this king is an idiot. If i was a king i would have done something with king Birendra's wealth. Like build a hospital or something. We all know that king birendra left amense property. All gyane had to do was to show some love for the ppl. He could have opened a school just for the poors of nepal with some of birendra's wealth to get ppl to like him. And he wouldnot have lost the wealth either because he would have found the way to get the money back as well. Ppl in nepal were already so fraustrated with the politicians they would have supported the king easily if he had done few things that showed some loving and caring for the ppl. I keep hearing that king birendra left a property of 2.4 bil dollors and pathetically Melemchi project was just 300 mil dollors project that nepal cannot come up with its own . If gyane had sponsered melemchi project on his brother's wealth, ppl would have supported him blindly. Ppl like my mom in nepal would support the one who gives them water than democracy.

nepali folks tend to have a short memory. true true..kahile gyane chor kahile girija chor..it all depends on what is "fashionable" the general public also hasvery little patience. if a new system does not bear immediate fruits, they take to the streets pronto. short memory + short attention span = bad combination...

Since guys like deja_vu are asking why? Answer is: Cause we are human beings we have ability to do so and we are ready to forgive maoist.why isn't it enough humilation for king that he has no power .why do u want to kill him?you are ready to forgive maoist. And if ever maoist comes to power. U cannot even imagine how many they are going to kill.Small examples starts from so called maoist villages in nepal. I personally think , everyone was tired with politicians and king just intended to do right thing but he went wrong and was mislead. So ,his intention was good but his deeds went wrong.

I blame advisors, sadly they were part of our society, elites, as they called themselves. False illusion and same Nepali trait of "mai Kham Mai lam" in Kingly way was the cause. Forgive, Forget and move fast sounds tempting, but for last two words I have reservations.

this is a time for forgiving everyone, leaving all anomosities, and build a new peaceful nepal. if we r ready to forgive baburam and prachanda for the 13000 lives and all the SPAs for their corrupt rule in the past, then why not the king? as per the 2063 declaration, the successor to king will now be decided by the sansad, so instead to Paras, someone else can be chosen the successor.

Yeah! I'll forgive him if he * frees himself from greed for more and devote his life truly for upliftment of all nepalese. * says I want to give up Kingship and I'm as ordinary person as Paagal Bhai. * gives all his heart to people honestly by doing something rather than saying like now. * gives away all the fortunes he earned by sucking blood of nepalese people. * can come out to serve people everyday rather than enjoying deer sekuwa and promoting his ego. * can touch the feet of an old beggar, can hug the girl in the picture and do something for her. You know my friends, a real saint is the one who committed many many mistakes and experienced the pain in doing so and truly becomes clean.
