i have seen many mandales pointing out how neta's gonna sell nepal to india. giving example like tanakpur. well! i am sure they don't know anything about tanakpur, anyway let's assum Girija sold Tanakpur to india and say it's 28 km around like kathmandu city inside ringroad. well! still he has done less

If you read Nepal's history than you'll know about selling your motherland by so called your kings and his bhardars. Birbhadra sold deheradun we have heard about the history about nala pani and sugauli sandhi with the then East India Company in 1816. After this agreement by collaborating with the imperialistic forces, the Nepali ruling class felt protected from the outside intervention and started a dictatorial rule without any fear. they sold more than half of what Nepal's boundry is today. al the plains from east to west hills and plains beyond mechi and hills and plains beyond mahakali. even mahendra sold half of sagarmatha ans well as upper north to china just because he can be a dictator.but because nepal's history is fake we have not being able to know all the truth about how much has palace taken from the jantas.

All those mandales please answer to this post to prove me wrong

Sorry I dont think I fall in the category of people(mandale) you mentioned. But, I didnt see a logic in your post. Do you think two wrongs make it right and selling what is left is ???

I would suggest that people need to think with cool head not emotions...

many,

you are saying all things on assumption. What proof do you have that Mahendra sold Everest to CHina?? This is first time i have heard abt it. Hey man do not try to create confusion and illusion? OK. You should have exemplary proof to claim it. You know Nepal is a land of rumour--just take that example from Hrihitik Roshan scandal, where some lives were wasted in vain.

Nepali jantas are sheep--so do not try to show green grass to them. I m not royalist, but there should be senses in what we say, do, think, hain ta

hey matangro look around everest in half owned by china from the north side and that too was owned after 1960. do u think everest is complete nepal's? you live in a crap man. check the roots of everest and see how much cheap it is to climb from china's side than nepal.

Nepalicnn i know two wrongs doesn't make right but when the country is finally trying to move foward these mandales are trying to scare the people as if Nepal is gonna be taken over by India.so i am showing them the reality about who had sold nepal's land

Mr many, from where did you get the fact Mahendra sold Half of the mount everest. Do you have any solid reference? if it is from the reliable sources, the matter needs to ponder over seriously by nepalis, or you heard it from you uncle, dad, colleague during pastime talking.

Anything is taken for granted in Nepal. So do you have more references on it?

Mr. Many - I think u are crap. Your statements are baseless. King Mahendra never has sold Mt. Everest. If I have seen a nationalist - it is him. It is he who introduced Nepal to UN against Nehru's will. It is he who went against India and BP Koirala for many things that make us proud Nepalese today. BPKoirala had said the indian currency should be the official currency of Nepal. He even advocated for Hindi as our language. Another mistake is the name. Who is Birbhadra by the way? Balabhadra Kunwar was my ancestor, the great warrior. He never sold any place to anybody. He fought in Nalapani till his breadth. Yes he did join the army of other country afterwards b/c he never got what he deserved.

-many, i disagree

1. treaty of sughauli was for the best interest of nepal. by 1815, the armies of the east india company had reached makawanpur, just south of hetauda. now, if the treaty wasn't signed, nepal would have already become india now. bhimsen thapa saved 2/3 rd of nepal from the treaty. i don't see it as loss of 1/3 rd of the country.

2. King Mahendra is a world figure, perhaps one of the just a few of the nepalese. He is one of the first proponent of the non-alignment movement when the entire world was either with the soviet union or united states.

bineet what way is mahendra a nationalist?
because
1.he is the one who took people libration
2.he officially omited nepal sarkar and replaced it with shree pach ko sarkar
3.he made it sure everybody startd singing shreeman gambir as national anthem so people can praise him all the time even included it in cinema
4. just because he was told he had to pay tax he setup a coup

balbhadra the loser the guy who sold deheradoon the history is wrong. he handed kangada so he could save his hide and the mis interpration of the history has made him a hero. if he was a nationalist why did he had to leave nepal and work for ranjit singh? infact he too saw there was no future in nepal and he left for india.

hey dilton what was chinese doing in nepal after 1960 don't tell me they just made a road so nepal would be deloped? and as for bhimsen thapa this is a huy who was prime-minister for 40 yrs. and oneday he just was killed by the king and queen as a trator. if in later days his family hadn't come in power8this was because the then queen still a power hungry turned towards thapa for support) he would still be regarded as a trator. that's why am saying sugauli sandi was done because they made ruling party sure to dominate the innocent juntas.and we did loose 2.5/4 part of nepal in that.

Many
So your point is: because Mahendra and few other people sold 2.5/4 land of nepal few decades or probably centuries' ago, today we should allow Grija et al to sell whatsoever we are left with!!!!!
Do you mean that if a dog bit you, you would go and bite back the dog to make things right?
We cannot undo what has already been done in the past, but we sure can learn from it.. I believe we have also learnt a lot from our past mistakes and if we want to be careful that the history doesn't repeat itself, we should not trust any particular person or a group blindfoldedly...
Given that Mahendra did all that you said, but that was in the past... It was when people were not very aware of such issues... Today, time has changed and so have people...If you didn't know, today people didn't allow Gyanendra to do what his father then got away with... Now it's high time we worry about our future and not sulk about what happened in the past... Enough damages may have been done previously, but we need to change and amend things now.. If people are being more concerned about their country and some corrupt politicians' selfish intentions, then we should take it as a good sign... It's a sign that Nepalese people are evolving- in terms of political awareness and we should certainly welcome it.....

This stupid Many is a bahun. He is making false imaginary stories about Balvadra Kunwar.. This bastard called him Birvadra-- haha didn't even know his name properly ... Stupid baun.... One thing is with bauns u can know from their talks... they are so stinkingly stupid and opportunistic and short sighted. They don't even realize people can know them through and through.

Bastard let me tell you one thing - King Mahendra was the greatest statesman Nepal ever had.

Beer Balavadra Kunwar fought loyally for Nepal. Just because he went away from Nepal later doesn't mean he was not a loyal soldeir. He was and so am I - his descendent. I am loyal to my King and my country till my death, which you baun will never understand. Bastard baun do u get that???

Many
I am totally with u..
All the other comments i have read, it seems they are still not out of the propaganda by the "panches"..
To others u do ur research and find what was Nepal's "aaukaat" among those NAM (non aligned movement.
As u r doing the reseach if the Mahendra was that much of nation lover (from nation in this age wee have to understand people), where and how did he find the need to dismiss a goverment which had 2/3rd majority? Isn't it because of that cold war and more importantly Indo-China war that he got away with all? Naswer this and comment on what MANY has written. thanks
