Anyone seen that tv series..LOST? Where the airplane crashes and some ppl survive on some spooky island. I wasn't interested in watching it at first so didn't watch it. Aaabha rerun dekhaa ko cha..watched a couple of it..looks interesting. However, I don't have the time to watch the whole episode. Anyone has watched it? Mind telling me the story? I mean the ending :D

Are you talking about the 1st season? or the 2nd season, which is going on right now.
If it is a 1st season, I have watched all the episodes.
The 1st season ends like this:

After the first boat getting burnt by Michael's son, Michael(the black guy), Jin(the korean guy), and Sawyer builds another one -- even better one. Four of them: Michael and his son, Jin and Sawyer takes off on the boat. On their way, they find another boat on their radar, which Sayid assembled for them. The boat they encountered happen to some crooked people who wanted Michael's son for some reason. Sawyer gets shot -- we don't know if he is deat. These people blast their boat, and takes Michael's son away.

The bald old guy, Locke and Boon finds a hatch. Locke finally tells Jack and some other folks about the hatch. Locke and Boon tries a lot to open up the hatch, but in vain. Finally Locke, Jack, Katie and Hurley brings some dynamite to open blast open the hatch. They succeed in doing so, and as they are looking inside the pitch dark hatch, the season ends.

2nd season should hold the answers to these curiosities.

lost is one of the most amazing t.v. series ever shown on tv!!! the 2nd season kicks ass, although i have to say, i hate anna lucia.. she sucks...

About Lost, well it scares the bejezus out of me. I'm living all alone in my big house, which btw, has a big garage( can fit two SUVs, know what I mean), and I got my teevee in my basement. Now my bedroom is upstairs on the top floor. What this means is that I need to make an excruciatingly terrifying journey(almost like going on a hajj) from the basement to my bedroom. I usually end up running. Seriously. Movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre do not scare me. Lost is sort of psychological, know what I mean? It scurrs me.

Thugged out, I thought I was da only chicken in da world! I scare da crap outta myself too when watching those horror stuff. It's a waste of money for me to go to see horror movie in cinema cause most of the time I am closing both my eyes and ears. It's great to have another fellow chicken ;) BTW, why don't U just move the tv upstairs?

Desperate housewives?? OMG...R U a fan of that show? Hmm...I guess everyone has a bit of feminity in them..hehe.

I have never heard of Epitfos. We don't have it here..yet. It's about psychos eh? Hmm..sounds interesting. But I am definitely gonna watch it during day time if it ever comes. I have a rule to never watch scary stuff at night. My imagination tends to run wild.

Yeah man, I saw some clips of epitafios, but didn't know it was supposed to be scary. Remember Carnivale? I thought it was a good series. They ended it abruptly though. Even that scared me.

The show is decent, but like lost, it is starting to wear thin in the tooth. Mike is an undercover cop, probably sent to find the dead body that was hidden under the pool. The blackmailing lady obviously wrote the letter, but most likely about something innocous. However, simply because she IS likely the one to have written the letter the writers will make someone less obvious write the letter.

Haa!!! Khoi, I'd rather watch History channel. :D "Epitafios" is in spanish or something, subtitled in English re, reading subtitle is another horror story. :P Tarshine ki subtitle padhne. :p Xena, watch "Rome" too... :D Kinda hott hott.. ehe... kata kata, but I think they messed up somewhere along the way. Ekdum Jump hancha.

About Jin's wife; she still tries her very best to keep her english speaking skill secret. But in one of the episode, Kate sort of finds out that Sun (Jin's wife) could understand her -- because of Sun's facial expression. Eventually Jin also finds that his wife could speak English, which ticks him off. They stop talking with each other. Towards the end when Jin and company are ready to take off of the island with their newly built boat, Sun tries to convice her husband that they should make up again. Sun gives him her own little Korean-English dictionary that she wrote, so that he could talk to others while on the boat ride. Jin tells his wife the reason for him to have to go. So that he could come back to rescue Sun. After a sweet Korean (french) kiss, Jin takes off. Well!! that's that with Sun's story.

Hey Kalankisthan, yeah I am a big fan of '24' as well. Now its 4rth season is out on dvd, I need to watch it. I loved 'Rome' too, but kind of disappointed that its 1st season is over. I had gotten so used to watching Rome every Sunday.

I have only opened the i"diot's box" ONCE in past 3-4 months, and slept with some news channel playing "raaga" which sounded akin to lullaby. Bihana nibaidiye :).

Well, Mr. Brando, Mr. Pacino (Don Michael Corleone) and Mr. De niro represented three different eras. It can be argued that Mr. Brando and Mr. De Niro (Both Don Vito Corleone) represented one generation in some ways.

Among the famous lines from the Godfather, my favorites are:

1) I'll make you an offer you can not refuse.
2) Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer.

No matter what people might say, there is never gonna be another Godfather. That is, unless I start my own "Our people" thing ;).

Some lingos:

----> He's a bing. The bird is a boozehound. That boop, blipped off the other bird for the board. <--- happens ;)

Capo means commander
Behind the eight-ball means in a difficult/sticky situation
