lau, lau. mero naam pardheko chhaina ta? but i am, in fact, not from palpa. no, i am american. but i was a resident of palpa for over 2 years as a peace corps volunteer. i lived in gabutung, chirtungdhara vdc. it's about 1 hour east of tansen on the way to arya bhanjhyang.
there is one sajhaite, swaati thapa, whose father is from palpa. eh, swaati! kataa gayo ni? hajur ko baba laai bolaunus ta!

Batase is in Palung Mainadi VDC. It is located approximately 28 km from Tansen.

oops forgot to answer one of ur questions - i have been in the state for 4yrs

i'll check my map of palpa district tonight to see if i can find your dad's vdc. just out of curiosity. my gau was only about 11 or 12 km from tansen, on the siddhartha highway going towards pokhara. where are you in the states?

hi, yeah my dad is from palpa so i can say myself too. Well my dad is from Bahargha its 4 hrs walk from DUMRE. Hey Sanu, Bataase is the place where there is this big PURNE ko Jatra every year in DASHAIN rite.

I was in palpa last december......when I was in Nepal. I went to Palpa after 6 years, i think....that was nice to be back home. As you approach Tansen, nangle welcomes you home. Was happy to chill out in Tansen, the home of Nanglo Bakery Cafe...

LIKE IN RANA AUTOCRACY TIME ONE WHO WAS GOING TO BE SHREE 3 MAHAHRAJ HE USED TO BE CHIEF OF PALPA GAUNDA. THERE WE WERE MORE IMPORTANT THAN RIGHT BESIDE SYANG JAAALI (PHATAHA). PALPA WAS A HUB FOR BZNESS PEURPOSES PPL AS FAR AS SURKHET USED TO COME THEIR TO BUY GOODS EVEN SYANGJAALI TOO.
PALPA IS KNOWN FOR ITS SCENERIC BEAUTY BUT SYANJAA UMMMM HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. GUYS DO U KNOW THERE IS ONLY 2 DISRTICT IN NEPAL WHICH ARE KNOWN FOR FRAUDAULANT BEHAVIORS. THEY ARE SIRAHA IN EAST AND SANGJAA IN WEST. EVEN IN SIRAH IS WASN;T AS EPIDEMIC AS SYANGJAA THATS WHY TILL LATE 2030 B.S.
