Yes you can take classes from other colleges as well just make sure that the credits are transferable and you should get in touch with International Student Councellor from both Colleges to make sure there is no issue in the future... When I was a student I did take couple of classes from community college while I was enrolled in University as they were electives and transferable...

Thank you FreeFalling, But, I have little bit different situation. To take minimum prerequisite courses for a grad program, I enrolled to a community college. But, I am in mind to take few other courses from another close by university to increase my chance of acceptance for that grad program. I am wondering how it works in the case of university to allow international student to take few courses without being own fulltime student. Any information will be appreciated. Cicada

I think as long as you are taking 12 credits of undergraduate courses you should be fine... but you need approval from the F-1 student councellor.... You should be ok.. meet councellors or email them, you will have the correct response. Good luck bro!
