i was on the same boat a month ago as you are now. GPA 3.51, degree chemistry, and undergraduate loans on credit cards = $22,000. there are plenty of jobs out there, u just have to find the right one.

if u r planning for getting a job, concentrate on job hunting and nothing else. if grad school then just go for grad school. don't put yourself on two boats at the same time. if you plan for spring session, then its kind of late but chances are still there. if you are planning for fall, yes plenty of time and obvious to get graduate/teaching assistantships.

Try visiting the purdue graduate fair on 27 and 28 of september. i am sure that you can get some ideas there. I am visiting too.
