Dr. Gangadhar lamsal who became lawmaker from chitwan constituency no 4 representing NC in Mid-term election 2051 and General election 2054 (!) passed away 3 days back in bangkok. He was undergoing treatment in one of the hospital there. He was taken to bangkok on the day of Fulpati after he reached critical stage with multiple systemic problems. He had been suffering from diabetes as I know him personally.
Before coming to politics, he was a professor of history in Birendra Multiple Campus, Bahartpur. He was very polite and simple person, a very rare qualities we see in leaders back home.

May his soul rest in peace!

Note: His last funeral rite is being carried to Devighat from NC district office at Narayanghat.

On the basis of Phone conversation with my family member.

Gangadhar Lamsal was a good human being but I am not sure if he was a good politician. He was very simple, honest and academic man which of course is not all required attributes to be a politician, specially in Nepal. He was still a young man, I am very sad to hear this news. My condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.

Sugar: (diabetes) does not seem a bad disease. You can do every thing but kills you nastily attacking major organs. Like eye, heart, kidney, gallbladder, blood cults so on. I have seen a gentleman with imputed legs.

Sorry to hear, May this bring sugar awareness in the society he was serving.

He is my very near relative. I have met him multiple times and I was surprised to see such a good human on the wrong field. I knew that he had lots going on his health side but I am still shocked to hear the news.

I called Nepal and came to know that they did the last rituals in Devghat.

May his soul rest in peace. We will miss you....

Dr. Gangadhar Lamsal was my professor and source of inspiration. I am shocked today after hearing the news in Sajha for his sudden demise. He was so kind and simple that everyone would be his firends and followers. May his family members got power and consolation in his absence in this entire world.

May his soul rest in peace !!!
