I was out of status back then and got reinstatement in my F1 visa abt one and half yrs ago. right now i am thinking to travel to nepal. my visa and I-20 are still valid ( not expired). is there any risk at the port of entry because i have voilated my status in the past?

Mythought, I had the same situation like yours. There won't be any problem at all. I was out of status for two yrs. dut to negligence of my advisor, got renisated and travelled last summer to Nepal. Immigration officer didn't ask anything. he even don't look at I-20 properly. Just go ahead and have fun as long as your visa and status is valid. that's it man. enjoy vacation.............
