I don't think that the political parties did the right thing by taking down the King. I believe at least they should have ceremonial king, like the one in Britain. I agree that Gyanendra should be taken down and i also think that Paras should not be king but i also believe that the parties should put Paras son in the throne. Also there was some fear in the political parites that if they do something wrong, the king might take some action against them, but now there is no fear. They will do everything openly and use their power in a wrong way.
This is my view. What do you guys think? Please do not write if you don't have any logical answerto support or go against my view.

Don't worry about assholes maoists. They can do nothing in our country. Its good to have no king. The best part of now I feel is even I can claim for president's post one day. Real feel of " Janatako sasan will be there" but if the parties don't stop their khichatani there will be " india ko rule" however direct indian rule and nepal being a part of indian has been long rooted when maoist started the civil war from the indian ground and established " TERAI MORCHA" for no reason.

i don't think India can play major role after maoist took control..See if India want a piece of Nepal, there are country such as China who will come forward because piece of Nepal can play a major role in the security of China. So China won't let that happen.

I guess history will be the best judge to whether abolishing the monarchy was a right decision or not. But with the King gone, the Maoists and the political parties have kind of a free license to do whatever they like as there is not any power to check and balance them.
Just my opinion.

The euphoria of "Ganatantra" will soon vanish. One way or the other its imposed on the Nepali people. People wanted peace and economic growth. The leader were very good at diverting and channelizing all the frustrations towards the king. I am not happy and so are many of us. We know the parties, maoists and the king all shared more or less the same responsibility through all these years.

China gives shit to Nepal until and unless it feels unsecured in international trade especially with USA from Indian site. Even for india, when it becomes able to takeover it will not bother to take headache by scorching us. That's the bottom line. Until when nepali leaders would not surrender to india to reach the power like maoist did to reach from 9 constiutenices to present status, india would do nothing as long as we keep them happy. This is century of globalization and indian citizens have grown up well, I guess.
