Hello everybody:
 I am thinking about moving to Virginia very soon. I don't know anything about that area. Can somebody suggest me what would be the best area close to DC that is easily accessible to metro train and bus, and of course, inexpensive apartments. That area preferably would be less African American and Spanish dominated. Your valuable suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

North Va and inexpensive doesnot go together.....But Fairfax area is common to nepali folks.So I assume it will be little inexpensive....which you are loooking for around 1200-1500 for 2 bedroom.

u don't have to worry abt african-americans or spanish peeps in VA... but i highly recommend u watch out for our own nepalese folks out there..lol... good luck with the move bro... try the landmark mall area, cheap and best :)

Thanks a lot Himalaya178 and gazabko_manche for responding and for your suggestions. I am looking for one bedroom not two so how much should I look for? And gazabko_manche, is there any specific reasons why I need to watch out for Nepalese folks? I am moving with my newly married wife so what part of VA that would be better where less Neps can be found. Any other readers, please share your ideas. Thank you.

Dude, I think Gajabko_manche is right. Nepali pride is something we brag about. The truth is, we don't have an ounce of morality when it comes to other man's woman. These days Nepali and pride don't go together, especially in places like VA where there are so many Nepalese.

I lived at MD and worked at VA for some years and I think chainbridge road and surrounding is okay place to live, so is woodbridge... I don't know much exept, I worked there, 495 sucked, ciggie and gas were cheaper than MD, and DC was close by. I guess you don't wanna live at Arlington, trust me. How about living at Alexandria? It's a nice place... well, kaale and hispanic are everywhere.

Come to Texas, it's less than 500$ for nice one bed room apartment. And you can put "Ghanta" as much as  you want at the gas station. good luck

Thank you  SnakeBite  and bisal123. Why Arlington is not good, SnakeBite ? I thought it is nice place. Are you saying Neps are not morally right there? Give me some more ideas better than those you have mentioned. And bisal123, why is Texas good? Which city do you mean? Texas is so big but my choice is VA for now though. May be later for Texas. The thing SnakeBite was telling me about women, that is really scary, man. Hope to find nicer place with nicer people. More ideas please. Thanks.
