Ohio BA is like less technical and more communicational. You need to have excellent communication skills and some technical skills as well and I guess the market is slow for BA these days. QA is the easiest training and there is a saying that every housewife in America is QA these days and every managers' wife is QA, so the competition to get job is very high in QA. I think Database would be right choice for you, it is not that hard also. If you can, learn SQL Server or Oracle, the market is very good for both of these. Good Luck Buddy!!

nepalsundari didn’t they started your training already? What happened?
ohio, I can get you started in SAS if you are interested. SAS is statistical analysis software, something similar to SPSS and Eviews, however in IT you would have to know some database and in some cases UNIX or mainframe.
I am working in a big company for marketing business intelligence and can refer you to the dhoti company. They will give you in house training which takes place online. You don’t have to leave your current job till you get placed.
Send me a personal message if you are interested.
Thanks,

Well you will get trained on the net where ever you are. They will send you the books and CD to your current address. They will call and get a convenient time for you, your batch mates(if any) and your instructor. Classes start every three weeks or so. Its all free. All you need is a good internet connection. After training (assuming you know how dhoti consultancies work) the placement time is usually 2-4 months -depends on your personal caliber, season of the year (hiring season or not)-your luck and the consultancies contacts with companies.-- As far as I know they have good contacts. Good thing with this company is that no matter what's your wait time is you can continue with your current job and not wait in some consultancies guest house (full of bed bugs), frustrated- without any source of income, Like me - 3 months. If interested. Send me a name a contact number where a dhoti guy from the consultancy can reach you major and time left on OPT

Nepalsundari contract break garda kehy farak pardaina. They can do nothing. In US noone can be bound for anything, so if you find a better offer elsewhere you can quit one and move to another. In fact I did the same, I stayed, trained 4 months in one dhoti consultancy and I ran away from there and I am working at different place now. So don't worry abt that. And generally contracts are made for 1 year but I saw you mentioning 2 years. Try to make one year contract if possible. Ok Good luck

Tsunami05,
Whats the process for that.
1.Do we have to finish our Grad or we can talk to them in the begning?
2. And what about the visa status during the training time do we have to be legal to work even during training program ??
3. Do they interview us too or just train us no matter what our background is ?
4. Finally, do you know any such company in Bay Area ?? (sanfranscisco)

nepalsundariI said this to someone else too this morning.
among us (sajha users) these papers are not bonded papers,
i.e. they can’t be used against you in court (if worst case comes) :-)…………
Don’t say this to the company- act you don’t know anything for now.
Get your H1and secure a job to start with. We can keep on
discussing the possible scenarios once you are inside, because the
possibilities for improvements are infinite, dictated by situation you would be
in that that point of time.
Lastly, I have been told that, 2 yrs is a mis-communication (vocally) if you look at the papers they sent you its written 1 year. At least thats what they just told me. Let me know if you see something different.

Sampada,
you have to be in OPT.
I don't know any company in Bay Area.
They will test your communication, that's all. You don't have to be subject matter expert.
