oh I see I did not go that in detail. Thanks for sharing this information. I am very glad that I already have office 2004 (for free). I am waiting for office 2008 for mac which is coming inthe market very soon

they had such an offer back here re?never heard about it urghh :oS.. anyways since am here.. http://www.openoffice.org/ try that if u want smthing free.both in terms of monetary and guilt ;oP.. functionality cant be compared to windows office but hey its free!;oP..but it is good enuf :oD and gettn better ;o) hooray for open-source!:oD good day!:oD

nice to c you all interested in your own way to this thread. I saw some very good comments on microsoft office 2007 and thought someone might be interested... office downloaded from torrent messedup with microsoft updates.. dananah, thanks for ur point. openoffice is good program that comes free. IBM also announced its Lotus Symphony for free. http://freetimeblog.awardspace.com/?p=37 also,LaTex is another free alternative. enjoy!
