USCIS recieved my H-1B appliccation (premium, masters' cap ) on 20th April 2007. Untill now I did not get receipt number. Is there any body who applied around 20Th April and already got receipt number ? Am I the only unlucky person on this world who did not get H-1B receipt number ??? Can any body suggest me on this matter ?

I finally got the receipt number filing as anticipated graduation on Master's quota.
You can tell your employer.Since USCIS gave me reception no I think that my case will be approved.I will let you know once it gets approve.But mine is under normal processing so might take some time for approval.

Hey guys,
Recently my employer told me he got the receipt number and he did send me too. This is under normal h1b quota of 65000.Upon checking the status in uscis website for that receipt number i see written as ".....We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you .....". So,my question is what next?Is it confirmed?I need to wait till october 1st for confirmation that it gets accepted or rejected? Any guys who have already h1 and has experience onto this situation...please let me know what is the process..Thanks..

I am stuck in a dillemma.

My problem is that I had appled for H1B through a consulting company with my expected graduation date. They told me that my docs reached to USCIS at 30th of April, very last day of acceptance. I have not received any receipt yet. But at this point, i have changed my mind and do not want to join those guys. What I am thinking now is even if USCIS asks for my degree, I will not send to that so that there will be no chance of approval through their company. In this case, will there be any problem for applying H1B for next year? Thanks for your suggestions.

I had applied on 23rd of April and still waiting, have no idea what's going on in there. A Mongolian guy from my school was saying his wife's and daughter's receipt has arrived but not his, all three had applied with premium on the same date on 1st week of April.....Good Luck.........!!
