you probably know umesh's merosansar and United we blog.. recently there have been a lot of bloggers... so i thought i would give free blogging service... but before that i wanted to ask you what you thught about blogging...

Why should one chooose your blog versus thousands of available blogs?

i dont care if you choose mine or not... my site is a non-profit site to promote citizen journalism in nepal.. if you dont favour using my site you may use any other.. i just want people to participate to inform the society..

a few reason for people to use my service would be...

* blogs will be promoted at http://www.cjnepal.org so you will get more hits
* we have many nice looking themes available free of charge
* there are no ads whats-so-ever
* you will be helping promote cjnepal
* good blog posts will be featured on the homepage, and will will be awarded, cash or gift
* its a nepali community
* you will receive a free 2gb @cjnepal.org email hosted by google

cant think of anything else.. but anyway.. you dont HAVE to use my (not my OUR) service... use ANY service, but let us work to promote nepal :)

I think there are tons of blogging sites available to one for free. Try Google's, for instance. By grandly saying you are going to provide blogging site, does zilch, adds absolutely no value. So try finding a better way to contribute, if that is what you want to do.

Now if you are going to ask the basic idiotic questions like what is blogging or why should one blog, then honestly, you have no business offering this service.

those questions are SUPPOSED to be ironic... i mean... i am working closely with Umesh (from http://www.mysansar.com) and honestly he REALLY needed to use that header image.. "its not a news site its a blog" I am tellin you... you might know.. but not everyone does... so quit generalizing and look at the bright side.. there is yet another free place to choose your blogging service from :)

I'm truly amazed by your motivation.
Making a nepali blogging community for citizen journalism in nepal is a very original and clever idea. I wish you all the luck with it and I hope some people will also appreciate this as much as I do.
The previous people who have replied to this thread are retarded a**h*****. A message to all of them: keep your frustrations for yourself, just accept yourself as life-failures, and don't get angry at the successfull nepali guys.
