I have been looking for a job in Dallas and near by area. I can work admin. work, dental assistant, customer service, sales or any medical support work. Please help me find a job. Anyone have any idea about the job in Dallas are help out a sister.

Oh, NO I know I would not work at gas station at all. I am posting here becasue I heard that there are so many nepalese in Dallas area and I have not worked for a while so I do nto know what to look for etc.. Well, any suggestion, recommadations are open.

i cannot tolerate that heat in Dallas..... cold breeze in morning and heat during the day.. and i got throat infection in SUMMER... kinda funny... then i promised i would if possible would NOT LIVE IN DALLAS/IRVING texas...

just my personal thought .... it is because of my fragile nature... i am sure there are 1000s of nepalese living there.. and i meant no harm or disrespect...

I am sure Dallas has its own Nepali Association. Try contacting those folks. What are fellow countrymen for if they cannot help you find jobs, eh?

I agree with CM. DR, there is a society in dallas called Nepalese Society of Texas, and they also have a website you can visit.
Also, from what I have heard from my cousins, there are plenty of opportunities for females in malls there, specially in sales positions. the base pay is not that great, but there are plenty of commission opportunities, some as high as $100-150/day. If you know anyone who works in a mall, thats who I would try to contact first.

In Nepal I worked mostly with NGO's and some other business where I worked as an admin. person.

in the US I went to dental assistant course and I also worked for about little bit over a year. Well,in medical field I do not have experiance but I would like to work for my future schooling. Molar your help will be appriciated. By the way I am legal to work in the US.

well if you have a license as dental assistant and are fluent in english it shouldnt be difficult.I am in Ca and here its pretty much easy to get the job. i suggest just go thru the local news paper n apply. good luck.

try temp agencies/ staffing companies. They'll help you find great jobs. Temp jobs might turn into full time too, who knows?
