I just heard the news. Sounds like the maoists are trying to prepare for a big battle or they're just out of ammunitions. Can't trust maoists, I feel they got a plan...what about u guys?

That's exactly I feel... also since Gyane may meet Bush or at least Bush's people at UN convention, Prachande might thought well if he annouces ceasefire now then Gyane will have hard time convincing Bush administration to help Nepal govt on the basis of terrorism of Maoists... All tricks matra ho Bhai ho.

This is really a good news and should be welcomed. But I have doubt that they will follow this strickly or not. Let's see what happens.

you know the thought occurs to me that i would not be very trusting of
the statement of the maoists about the ceasefire. it's an old trick to
declare a ceasefire then attack (probably while the King is out of the
country). see the tet offensive of 1968 in Combodia for an example.

Is , I agree with you. They have done it before and they could do it again. So we should not be pakka sure that the maoist will keep their words. They have betrayed in the past and they could do it again. Stay awake and beware of them!!!!
