Gagan Thapa? A good leader? I am afraid, I respectfully disagree.
Agreed he's shown considerable courage to voice his opinion these days, but is that a criteria enough? Are other character flaws to be IGNORED? Just like that?
Is barking the only quality we seek in our 'guard dog'?
With due respect to fellow sajhaities who has their own reasons/beliefs, I'ld blackball him out of, let alone, quote end quote "good leader" category, but even a legitimate basic leader with democratic principles. If anything I see him as a wolf in sheep's mask.
His sermons can not hide his actual pragmatic actions while he had 'power' to 'act' as a leader while in position of a president of some so-called student wing in one of the colleges in KTM. His barking appears insufferably pedantic, and is exclusively motivated on generating an impressive resume which was tattered; at this opportunist juncture.
If I've to search for colloquial phrase for him, it would be this, " mukh ma ram ram bagalima chura."
What i fail to understand is, does 'barking' on soapbox a la oration makes him a good leader, not to mention a "hero" in some of our sajhaities' eyes? Is that the only and most fundamental character to determine whether he is a "good leader". Not that it matters much, but I refuse to acknowledge him EVEN as a leader and find him akin to girija, gyane, makune and their cronies; albeit "Mini evil".
