Sitting by the shore
I watch the beautiful sun
and the never ending horizon,
identical it seems to misery.
The conspicuous redness of sun?s ray,
mirror image of my pierced soul,
touches my skin like no one else ever has.
With the picture of dark blue calmness all around I close my eyes.
I lay my head on his shoulder,
his strong arms that hold me tight,
temporary it might be, for now I am safe.
Clear blue sky changes in a blink,
dark clouds of confusion that has surrounded me now.
The savage waves breaking all the walls around it roars,
sense of freedom I long for one more day.
Confined in iron-clad barricade,
loneliness has become my friend.
Washed away broken shells,
home far away it left,
memories is such a strange numbness.
Reminiscences,
as it go back and forth I sit alone amongst known strangers and anonymous friend
And I watch the beauty of nature peacefully.
Thousands of people have walked this path, left their footprints deep down the sand,
and thousands of people will walk this path erasing and making a print of their own.
Like them I am a just a spectator that once left some print somewhere close by....
