Hey all: I have a good news for those who lost/are losing their hair. ************************************* My brother-in-law went to some Ashram to listen to a Yogi giving a Prabachan.Talking about hair loss, the yogi told him to rub all the fingernails together for about 15 minutes everyday.Even if he had very little hope,he did as the yogi advised because he could do that even while watching TV. In a couple of weeks, his partially bald head started to experience a difference.Notice, he hasn't used any medicine. The yogi told him that rubbing nails affected the hormonal balance in his body which controls the hair growth. He called me to tell me that he got most of his hair back. I thought I would share this free trick with all Sajha friends who worry about their hair loss. Good luck. DP

I think what DP's brother in law said is true. If anyone of you watch 'sanskar' or 'aastha' channel, they show all kinds of natural ways of treating oneself or improving ones lifestyle. Not for losing hair but for grey hair, my sister did the same... rubbed her nails together for 5 mins before lunch and dinner. I would see her doing that while watching TV most of the time. She learnt it from 'sanskar' channel where a yogi taught ways to improve ones health or other kind of ailments without taking medication. Well, I don't think my sister did it long enough to see the results. .. or we did not see her grey hair turn black because she colored her hair just too often. But let's not reject the possibility. We so proudly claim that hindu philosophy is rich... but when it comes to something new or unheard of... we readily make a joke out of it. There are ways and methods of health treatment that have not become as popular as yoga, meditation, arurvedic treatment, naturalopathy etc. So guys, instead of making a joke out of things... be open and accept the possibility. No harm in trying right? What if it really worked? What if your hair really stared to grow back? Nothing to lose... all to gain! WOW! I'll ask my sister and write the name of the yogi as well. So long...! S of T.

I do not care whether you guys believe it or not, but it is true.As Sandsoftime said, in the begining, the idea of yoga must have sounded as funny as rubbing nails. Many people in the West must have made fun of Yoga. But see how it has influenced the whole world now.Accupuncture is another example. It sounds funny to know that a disease in your head can be cured by pocking your toes(or something like that). This hair thing really works....at least it worked for a few people I knew.....try it.Yes, we have a problem...we don't easily trust something that is simple and free.... DP.

I do believe in the hindu philoshopy. It is so diversified and so intense. It will not be able to understand in my one life. I have to be reincarninated many times to understand it. The other things is our vedic knowladge is so intense that there is everything in there. The oldest of veda is rig veda. then u have the different brances like upanishad, samaveda, yajurveda and something else. All of these work with the music, weapon, medicine and other stuff. I mean the first account of plastic surgery was done by rishi to wonded king by cutting the flesh form thigh and add to other part. It is mentioned in veda. Even the equipment that deal with medical surgery is found drawing in veda. I mean my brother remove stone from his tommy without opertion just by talking jadibuti. i do believe man. they have explored so manythings before which we havenot done. What today science is doing is re-inventing the things. veda said that there is more than one galaxy and there is more than 120 planents which science is believing now. At the end science is going to say everything is going to fall in five elements which they dont believe so far.

Ok... i got the name of the yogi... ! His name is Ramdev Maharaj. You can watch his programs in Aastha (morning and evening) and Sanskaar (evening). I think the methods he is teaching are Vedic. But I don't know the details. S of T.

In the mean time, I called my brother-in-law and asked him about his recent hair growth. He said he was really amazed how such a simple and stupid sounding thing did the trick to his hair.He also said that my sister was making fun of him and of his trick in the begining.Once she saw his hair grow, she started to do that to stop her own hair loss. Well, I am blessed with black and thick hair.I will certainly rub my fingernails when I start to lose it. DP.
