Folks (in Boston), Although GBNC has not made an official annoucement about this yet, it appears there will be a soccer match ( a 5-5 affair) for players from within Boston representing various cities. So far, teams would probably break down like this:

1 or 2 teams representing Allston/Brighton.
1 or 2 teams representing Cambridge/Somerville.
1 team representing Other cities (Arlington, Watertown, Waltham, Boston...etc).

If you would like to represent your city, or participate in this event in any way, please contact Diwas Adhikari at akadiwas@gmail.com. If you would like to represent the OTHER CITIES, then please contact me at: bik555@hotmail.com. Or, call me at 617-529-6240.

Bik.

p.s. The event is scheduled for 09/06/04 (Labor Day Monday)

Dear All,
The game is on!!! Spread the Word...

Our goal is to get 4-6 teams to enter this 5-A-Side tournament (with 2 substitute allowed per team). Each game is going to be 20 minutes long - other logistics still being worked on (The complete ýrules of engagementý will be ironed out after consultation with all the participating teams).

All the matches will be held the during the afternoon/evening of the Labor Day Monday
(September 6, 2004) on Watertown Park (Behind Arsenal Mall).

Currently I am aware of the following team building initiatives:

Surya Lama - Working on a team to represent Allston/Brighton.
Sanjeev Sainju - Working on a team to represent Somerville.
Bik Yonjan - Please see the posting above.

I think we can get few more teams together - Somerville, Allston, Brighton, Cambridge should have no lack of talents to enter a few more teams.

LETS GET A FEW TEAMS REGISTERD.

If you have any questions/suggestions, please do not hesitate to call. I can be reached at the following numbers:

781 777 9780 (Home)
978 397 0034 (Mobile)

email: akadiwas@gmail.com

Best Regards,
- Diwas.
