I recently got my TPS fingerprint notice due by end of next week. I just moved to east coast for IT contract. Is it possible to go in to a local USCIS with the same notice or can I mail them back the original notice to reschedule the fingerprint around my current location? My home address and mailing address is still same as in the original notice and this move is temporary. Please let me know if someone has faced the same situation and what can be done? Thank You Jai Nepal

Does that mean I can go to a different office and use the same notice? It gave a specific location and time. In the notice, it says to contact them back with original notice to modify the appointment.

I heard somewhere on this forum that u can do that. So walk over to an uscis office with the notice and an ID and give it a try. Give yourself a buffer of few days, so that if they deny, you have other options.

what a coincidence.. i just did my walk in Oakland even though i am from New york. Go to uscis office 5-6 days ahead of your finger print appointment with notice and ask them to do walk in..it depends upon ISO in the office.. If he states he can do walk in same day or ask you to come other day, you should be good. If he says no, try 2 more in area. If no one agrees go to your state. Oakland ISO was nice. I went there thursday and he asked me to come back today. Just came back from my biometric in oakland even though i am from NY
